The king didn't care about them, they were abandoned in a tiny house behind the castle. In another scene ; It looked like a dungeon and Anna saw Teresia chained and she looked awfully tortured. She looked starved and heavily beaten, Anna felt pity what can she do? And she realised she can do nothing. While pitying Teresa, heavy footsteps were heard heading her way. Anna watched the evil King get in the dungeon “ Now tell me how to get those powers " King Gabriel roared Teresia looked at him with disdain and hate ” I don't have any powers and even if I had, I could never give it to you “

"I met Alectrona once during the war. I saw the crown she was wearing. That is not a goddess crown. That ruby crown has the face of a dragon carved on its gold ring. We should retrieve it. Give it back to the king!" "Why do we need to give it to the king?" Orora read books a lot when she was still a kid, and until now, that was still one of her hobbies. "Coz Amira, that crown isn't hers. It was the crown of the late queen!" "Oh my goddess!" I clamped my mouth with my palm. "I believe in you, Orora. Come on, let's go. Collen has been mind-linking me. He can't wait anymore!"

Kael protested. "You need titles for formal occasions," she insisted. "Traditional or innovative?" Through the bond, we considered. "The Broken Crown," Lyra said suddenly. "That is what we are. Five pieces of what should be singular authority, shattered and reformed into something new." Silence. Then slow nods. "The Broken Crown," Queen Elara repeated, testing the phrase. "The Council of Five, known as the Broken Crown. I approve." She stood, and the Court stood with her.

] I stared at the screen, my smirk growing colder by the second. I showed up at the meet-up right on time, dressed down in a hoodie and jeans, my face free of makeup. Bennett's eyes sparkled when he saw me, and he beckoned, "Harriet, come sit here." He was flanked by a gaggle of girls gazing at him in awe. Among them was Sophia, the daughter of Cornwell, a notorious kingpin, another notch on his belt from a life I wanted to forget. I took a seat next to her. When Bennett ducked out for coffee, I leaned over to Sophia, "So, what's your take on Bennett?"

Aameris spoke almost in a whisper, but everyone in the room heard him. The three couples kissed, then turned to look at the crowd. Lindaat started to glow, and a crown appeared on her head. Twisted silver and bronze metals looking like a tree being held by silver roots. Around the crown, small diamonds rose, looking almost like trees. When she turned to look at Teleraamon, he had a circlet of the same silver and bronze on his head. Ailive gasped when a crown appeared on her head, with a solid silver band with sapphires around the edges that looked almost like tears. Dakkaath had a circlet of silver with a hint of bronze in it. Xylia smiled brightly at the two, then felt something on her head

The man scrambled to open the box, placing it on the table. In it was a crown. The crown was made entirely of gold and encrusted with various gems. One of the gems was a fiery red color, emitting an exquisite scarlet glow. Wilbur scanned the crown with his spirit energy, and it lit up at once. He picked the crown up, taking a closer look at it. The man blinked nervously, clearly caught off guard by how carelessly Wilbur was handling the crown. A while later, Wilbur looked up. "I'll take it. I'll help you with whatever you want after I'm done."

There’s actual fanfare, from real trumpets, and the huge doors open to admit me. All thought of Ashton or anyone else, really, clear my mind entirely. I instantly focus on Nathan, seated on his throne, the crown of our pack leader shining silver against his dark hair. The King’s crown is a simple, polished band with peaks that rise up in the shape of fangs; pack legend is that they’re actual werewolf teeth. I suppose now that I’m about to be queen, I could find out. I should make a list of all the weird things I’ve always wanted to know. Since life around Aconitum Hall seems like it’s going to be pretty boring, maybe I can write a definitive history of the pack or something.

Ashina stood quickly, one hand still over her stomach, and for a moment I saw two wounded women ready to blame each other because Adolphus had taught them too well. “The first Blood Feather book,” I said, rising slowly so my sister’s eyes would come to mine instead of Ashina’s throat. Otsana’s gaze dropped to the page, and every inch of her went still when she saw the two crowned wolves and the child between them. The silver mark on her wrist flashed. The book answered. A third crown appeared above the child’s head, darker than the others, made of black feathers and tiny bones. Otsana whispered something in the old language, but the word broke before it could become a prayer or curse.

“The first king cannot return without a body.” Shigure looked at me. “A body carrying royal tide blood and wolf memory.” Cael gave a bitter laugh. “So everyone chose the same girl.” The book opened again. This page showed the blood moon. Three crowns circled beneath it. The Tide Crown. The Stormcrest Crown. A third crown made from black bone. Words burned across the glass. WHEN THE THREE CROWNS MEET, THE FIRST KING MAY RISE. THE LAST QUEEN MUST BE EMPTIED.

Her face was already pinched into the expression of a woman preparing to fire the entire palace staff. “Mami.” I cracked an egg into a bowl. “Morning.” “My crown is missing.” I picked up a second egg. “Which crown?” Gabby looked at me like I had just asked who the president was. “My pink glitter crown.” “You have four pink glitter crowns.” “The aquarium one.” “Oh. The cheap one.” “It’s royal.” “Royal and seven dollars can coexist.” Her face darkened. “It’s gone.” Another set of footsteps came from behind her.
