Dark Tales Of Midnight: A Collection Of Taboo Stories

Dark Tales Of Midnight: A Collection Of Taboo Stories

I tucked them behind my ear and glanced at Tom. He leaned casually against the wall, the moonlight accentuating the sharp angles of his jaw. His messy black hair fell across his forehead, making him look even more irresistible. “Then tell me,” Tom coaxed, a teasing grin spreading across his face. “You can’t call me your boyfriend if you keep your sexual fantasies from me.” I inhaled deeply, my pulse quickening. Tilting my head back, I bit gently on my lower lip before meeting his gaze again. Excitement sparkled in my eyes.

How To Woo Your Ex-Wife

How To Woo Your Ex-Wife

They drove in comfortable silence with occasional bursts of chatter and after an hour or so, they had finally arrived at their destination. Steve kept shifting his glance, tapping his foot looking every bit as nervous as he felt and Liza couldn't help but find it cute. Their destination was in a secluded part, a little way from the highway but still full of life. People called it 'Literature Lane', which could only be described as a festival of literature. There were huge banners of books and below those banners, people were enacting scenes from books or were reciting them, she also a book discussion group somewhere. The books were from almost all the genres, from classics to contemporary, p

Wolf Tales

Wolf Tales

She had to find a way to talk to Jamie Dalton Volka. She probably shouldn't have been surprised at the size of the crowd in the bookstore. After all, when a well-known local resident, in fact, the head librarian, wrote a book that was moving up the charts, people would certainly turn out en masse for it, and they did. She had listened while Jamie spoke about writing her book. How her fascination with wolves had led her to do her research and write this romance about a wolf and a human. She hadn't, however, given any hint as to what had sparked her interest in the first place. Paranormal was a very popular genre with people these days. Lia wondered what they'd say if they knew there was more

His Rejected Mate

His Rejected Mate

But my father had been. He used to say that books were like gardens of the mind — places you could walk into when the real world had nothing left to offer. And maybe that’s what she needed right now. A new place to hide, one untouched by Lucien’s cruelty. I found the one I had been thinking of — The Legend of Winterlight — tucked in the back of a high shelf. Its spine was worn, the pages yellowed, but the story inside was timeless. A tale about a cursed forest, a silver stag, and a girl who saved herself by believing in something no one else could see.

Claiming The Rejected Omega

Claiming The Rejected Omega

"A book can transport us to distant realms, introducing us to characters who become our confidants, even lovers, for a brief moment in time. What tale has captured your imagination, dear stranger?" Liam, caught off guard by Layla's profound observation, found himself charmed by her eloquence. "It's a novel by one of my favorite authors," he confessed, a hint of enthusiasm seeping into his words. "The protagonist embarks on a perilous journey, facing countless obstacles in search of his true purpose. It's a story that resonates deeply within me, as if the pages of my life mirror the trials and tribulations of this fictional hero."

I read as far as chapter eight because there were too many grammar errors. The storyline sounds like it could be a great book, and your characters are good, but trying to make sense of the sentences is so distracting. It makes it really hard to understand and enjoy the book.
Vivian Akoto
There are too many inconsistencies in storyline. Fir example, Emily is to proven guilty at the same time proven innocent by Chloe and her team. Max is the culprit then Max is helping Emily. Lucas is Emily brother, then Lucas is prosecuting Emily. It's really difficult to follow the story.

The House of the Damned: Sin & Deceit (A Dark Romance)

The House of the Damned: Sin & Deceit (A Dark Romance)

And every time I sat across from Carlisle Brocandale and felt his attention move over me like light over something it has decided to illuminate, the hunger sharpened further and I told myself I would not go back and went back. By the third time, the lie dissolved. Like sugar in rain. Like every comfortable fiction eventually dissolves when exposed to enough of the thing it was constructed to avoid. I stopped naming what it was and simply went. I found him in a bookstore on Green Street, wedged between a tailor and a florist.

Saved by the Archangel

Saved by the Archangel

I accepted Annelise's invitation and visited her at her work at the mall. She used her amazing and long lunch time to show me her favorite stores, including a bookstore whose shelves reached two floors of the building, and the characteristic smell of new and never used books filled the entire environment. I myself was strongly influenced by the unique atmosphere that a library or bookstore can offer, and I ended up buying half my salary of books that would require a lot of strength from my arms to carry them. Also inside the bookstore I was introduced to one of her best friends, Zylah, a very thin and tall girl, with dark blonde hair and green eyes, and the only attendant in the whole store.

Married To The Billionaire I Hate

"You okay?" I nodded quickly. Too quickly. "Yeah. Just... tired." He didn’t push. … Next, he drove us to a bookstore. Not one of those shiny chains, but an old place that smelled like paper and memories. I loved it instantly. He let me wander, didn’t follow too close, just stayed near enough to make me feel safe. I picked up a copy of a poetry book and flipped through it. He appeared behind me and pointed to a page. "That one. That poem. Read it."

HOLY HOTS

HOLY HOTS

The older lady patted her shoulder lightly while returning the smile then headed back to her business leaving Amy behind. "Where do I start from?" Confused Amelia whispered. "What kind of Christian books would be less boring?" She exhaled deeply while her fingers traced through the books on the shelf. “‘Ahaha!” exclaimed confused Amy as she picked out a book from the shelf. “What could this be about?” wondered Amy while she read the synopsis of the book in her hand. She read out in an undertone, “Filled with faith and inspiration, Break Out will challenge you to build a new prespective, let nothing hold you back…” Nodding her head in concurrence to the words she read, “ hmmmmm….
