Marked by an Alpha

Marked by an Alpha

She needed to be focused and ready for anything. "It's just some of the maids." Kent whispered. "They're hiding in that closet. I can hear their heartbeats and smell their scents. Definitely female. It's not guards." Dani nodded and refocused her eyes on the path in front of her. She wasn't sure why she'd expected to meet at least a half dozen guards between the dungeon and the dining hall. She knew that when she lived in this house the vast majority of Harding's guards were stationed outside the house itself. He liked to think of the house itself as impenetrable. But surely, with Vos hanging in his dungeon, beaten and bruised, he must realize that there was a danger within his own home?

Claimed By The Ruthless Alpha

Gosh I've been in there longer than I expected. As I stepped into the sunlight, I was momentarily blinded by the glare. I squinted and looked around, taking in the sights and sounds of the outside world for the first time in a like eternity. I couldn't believe how much I had missed the simple things, like the feel of the grass beneath my feet and the sound of birds singing in the trees. Even though I wasn't allowed to go out much , the little I could was enough to miss all this beautiful sights. The dungeon was a dark and foreboding place, located deep within the foundations of the house. It was a vast, underground chamber that stretched out in all directions, with rough stone walls and a lo

Claimed By My Alpha Bully

[DUNGEON - DIMLY LIT AND DANK CELL] The dungeon is a grim and shadowy place, the walls lined with cold, damp stones that seem to seep misery. Meagia was laying on the floor with dishevelled hair and eyes filled with desperation, slowly regaining consciousness on a cold, stone floor. Her eyes flutter open, adjusting to the dim light filtering in from a small, barred window high above.

I enjoy how the author portrays the female lead with a different persona. In werewolf novels, the female lead is typically innocent and powerless, but the author opted to create an unconventional FL character, someone bold and fearless. It's absolutely adorable!

Intriguing, I have read lots of wolf stories abd none has gotten my attention like this book has. It is funny and captivating, especially the "tasteless strawberry line in the book." I will keep reading, I recommend to everyone looking for something different ...

The Lycan King's Rejected Daughter

The Lycan King's Rejected Daughter

WARD "The dungeons are in the basement of the pack house," King Erebus informs me. "It may not be difficult to cross the borders undetected but getting into the pack house will be difficult." "What do we know about the dungeons?" I ask, wondering if there is a separate entrance. "Unfortunately," the King furrows his eyebrows in frustration, "I don't know much more than what I have already told you." Turning the monitor of the computer in my direction, I click through the floor plans of the Crescent Moon pack house. Frowning when I get to the basement and I notice that the plans are incomplete.

A contract in Dubai

A contract in Dubai

"Where's your dungeon?” We go in our robes to the room I've prepared in my own house. This is really mine, my parents' inheritance, the house where I grew up. It's lucky that I don't have any bad memories of it. As Hazel enters the room, she looks around as always with that childish look on her face. The room is obviously much bigger than the one in Dubai. There, she sees a St. Andrew's cross, which is something I don't have in the Dubai room. She flinches and looks at me. "What's that?”

A Warrior's Vengeance

A Warrior's Vengeance

The air was thick with the smell of mold and mildew, and there was a dampness that seemed to seep into their bones. The entrance to the dungeons was a large, heavy wooden door that was reinforced with iron bars. Finn approached the guards and presented his credentials, and after a few moments of scrutiny, they allowed him and Silas to enter. The interior of the dungeons was a stark contrast to the grandeur of the palace. The walls were made of rough, cold stone, and there were no windows to let in any natural light. The only illumination came from a series of flickering torches that lined the corridors, casting eerie shadows on the walls.

Lycan Princess' Disguise

Lycan Princess' Disguise

The silence that followed Aunt Sasha's words was awkward before my aunt spoke again. “I heard there's a dungeon somewhere in the house. Could you enlighten me about it?” “I... I really shouldn’t speak of it, madam.” Aunt Sasha scoffed. “Stop wiggling like an earthworm. I didn't ask you to take me there. Also, you have my word, no harm will come to you. Now, about the dungeon...” The maid muttered before speaking “It's behind the garden. There’s a wrought iron gate that leads to an underground passage. But it’s dangerous, madam.”

A Queen Among Snakes

A Queen Among Snakes

We nod and re-open the trap door and descend down into the dungeon. There’s a reason this place is called a dungeon and not a prison. We have a prison back at Invictus, but it’s modern and kept sterile. This, however, is exactly what you picture when you hear the word dungeon. As we make our way down the stone stairs, Vitali and I have to cover our noses to keep from vomiting. It’s the most putrid stench I’ve ever encountered. Wet, stone walls covered in dirt, mould, and dry blood. The ground is made of dirt, and I don’t want to even think of how many years it’s been accumulating blood.

I absolutely loved this book. It was such a welcome change to have a timid and sweet main character. The writing is so great, and had me in tears multiple times. my heart broke and soared along with the story. I would highly recommend this book!

i thought book 2 couldn't possibly live up to book 1 but i am so happy to be wrong. this just moved the entire series forward and was even better than the first. i think i'm a huge Mei stan now and am so excited to start the next book. i rarely cry at books, but this one got me several times.

My Donor

My Donor

I grab his hand, pull him up, and march to the basement door. “If you’re going to kill me, let me call my mom first.” I chuckle, flip on the light, and lead him downstairs. “If I were killing you, I wouldn’t do it here,” I say as we navigate the maze of rooms and hallways. “What is this place?” “My dungeon.” His eyes widen. “Like a sex dungeon? I’ve heard you people do stuff like that.” “You people?” I furrow my brow as we reach the door. “Rich people.” I roll my eyes—of course.

The Perfect Bond

The Perfect Bond

I reply to Alex and we both wait to reach the floor in comfortable silence while trying to find out the reason. Soon enough, we reach to our floor and step in the dungeon hallway, this place is the complete opposite of the whole pack house. The pack house is vibrant and lively while these stony walls scream death and darkness. The hallway is illuminated by small bulbs at corners placed at enough distance that one bulb’s light does not reach the other one. The walls on the other hand are completely made of stones with no polishing or furnishing, whatsoever. The corners are covered by spider webs giving the whole place a haunting vibe. There are prison cells on my both sides, which are made

An intriguing title which will make you read it more. The MC is waiting for his beloved...I wanna see how the events turn. The emotions and feelings are written out very nicely which makes you feel connected to the story.

I love the book cover, simple yet compelling. It's easy to read, the narration is easy to wrap around my head. The name of the characters aren't hard to pronounce. You got an intriguing storyline. Kudos!
