"Come in, come in, I'll introduce you to my favorite paintings," Arthur said as he led them further into the showroom. He introduced them to his finest works yet and then stopped at one. "And this one over here is called 'Binding Nature'. A beauty, isn't she?" he asked, referring to the realistic painting of a man made of tree branches who desperately clings to a huge tree, even though it seemed like he was being pulled away from it. It had wonderful shades of yellow, blue, and green, and Leslie found herself immersed in the painting. It spoke of so much passion and dedication.
"This is so avant-garde, Arthur," she said.
