Jack quickly jumped up and ran down the stairs. Maliya POV Bubbles! Bubbles! Bubbles! Without Aeron to tell me no, I poured as much of the bubble mix as I could into the large bathtub. The warm water splashed against my waist as the bubble now went to my breast. My hair was piled in a bun as I felt my backside slip on the tub's floor. I giggled as I fell into the land of bubbles. The rage was gone, and now I felt like a child as I twisted in the warm water. I could hear a bam noise then. I stopped moving around as I listened to the house door slam shut. I shrugged it off as I felt the water rush up to meet my chest. Then I heard footsteps.

We both take off toward olli room and he's in full sobbing mode. "Hey baby" Noah, usually his favorite between the two of us when it come to needing cuddles and love. But olli don't run to him as he usual do, he turn to me holding both his hands up. I lift olli off the bed and in to my lap he kept crying while we shared a look knowing what's wrong, his pull ups are wet. Accident happens often with puppies like him but every time he'll break in tears not liking the feeling and a bit embarrassed that he need to be changed by us.

Selena didn’t resurface. Instead, pops of bubbles gurgled up. The panic in him chorused with Sophie’s screeching scream in her mother’s arms. Sensing something went wrong, he jumped back.

Even now he wasn’t awake. Bubbles came up to the surface of the water. They shifted back from the water in shock. Something was inside the water. The bubbles were small at first then they became bigger and bigger. The water rose to reveal something. They closed their eyes not wanting to see it but anxiety took the best of them. Angela was the first to open her eyes. Her shriek made everyone open their eyes too. “Whoa,” Miles exclaimed looking at the beautiful figure in front of him but she wasn’t as beautiful as Angela.

“Try kitchen trauma for once!” Beads of sweat rolled down my forehead. I spat out the onions and grabbed a glass of water. “Damn it!” I groaned, wiping my face. “I’m crying! Fûck, I’m actually crying.” Vera laughed so hard she nearly dropped her phone. “Thank God I recorded that. Tim and Hannah are going to love this.” She waved her phone triumphantly, the screen showing my onion-suffering in all its glory. “No one sees that video!” I lunged toward her.

ELENA’S POV I sat on the edge of our bed the next morning and stared at my phone screen, there was a video of a cute puppy tripping over its own feet, playing. And just like that tears rolled down my cheeks again even though nothing sad had happened. Lorenzo walked in from the bathroom and stopped when he saw my face. “What is it this time, baby girl?” he asked gently as he came closer and knelt in front of me. “I saw a video of a puppy tripping over its own feet and it made me cry,” I mumbled and wiped my eyes with the back of my hand. “It was so cute and clumsy and now I cannot stop.”

Anna started crying and the volume kept increasing. She cried with her mouth open and from her eyes sprang waterfalls of tears. This woman crying was the vision of the apocalypse! She cried for an uninterrupted half hour, with Bonfim and me as spectators. In the end, I even thought she was dehydrated from crying so much. We continued the interrogation, but with each question asked, she cried a little more.

"Aunt Sabrina, I've never seen you cry. You're a woman who doesn't cry even when you are going through fire and water. You're the iron lady in my heart. How come you're crying?" Sabrina looked at her niece with annoyance. "You silly child. You don't know this but everyone in the world has very active tear glands. It's just that many people are in circumstances that allow them to cry. However, some people are just not in the position to cry. Bobby barked, while his friends roared with laughter. People watched and laughed. Some pulled out their phones to record, while others looked away–pretending nothing was happening. My glasses slipped off when I fell into the pool earlier. It only worsened my situation–everything was a blur. Then suddenly, the noise swelled. Gasps, screams and excitement filled the air.
