Bury Your Dead Mga Nobela at Kwento

"Yeah but my dead girlfriend is buried here too. And so is my mom. Foster Mom. This is literally the worst–" "Robert Barrison. I've had just enough with you" the voice thundered up in Robert's head, making him groan in discomfort, holding his ears to try and numb the pain. "Did you know that there are about seventeen different ways to kill a person in a graveyard? Now if you don't shut up, and let me do everything from now on, I swear on the supreme ones, I'm going to take you through every single one of them." After hearing nothing but the night calls of owls, and a submissive man in his early twenties, it continued.

Was this how little I meant to him? Rage surged through me like a wildfire, turning my eyes bloodshot. Caroline, the culprit behind my death, was sitting right here in my very home while my fiancé erased every piece of evidence that could incriminate her. And me? My corpse was now lying somewhere, cold and blue. The cruelest part was that Jerome didn't even believe I was dead. … After dinner, Jerome stood alone on the balcony with a cigarette pinched between his fingers. His other hand swiped restlessly across his phone screen.

***ROMANO’S POV *** 4 weeks later*** We watched as my brother’s coffin was lowered into the ground. My father held my mother as she was crying hysterically, and to my surprise, even the Grey’s were crying over the loss of Ace. Allegra's coffin was buried on the other side of the field, something I know they’d absolutely protest against. I know that they’d want to be buried side by side, hell they’d even be buried in the same coffin if they could.

"Oh, my goodness! This woman died a horrible death!" "She was a pureblood werewolf attacked by a rogue. Her body was pumped full of liquid silver!" "How did her family not realize what was happening? Couldn't anyone sense she was dead?" The TV kept replaying the news of my death while the comments section blew up with arguments about how I'd died. People reacted with shock, grief, and even outrage. But not a single one of them knew who I really was. My body was found in an old storm drain at the boundary of our family land. The site had once served as a military water reserve, storing liquid silver bombs during the civil war, but it had long been abandoned.

she snarled at the guard. "Well, he thought wrong! I'm still alive, and that's his worst punishment. I'll go on to live as wonderfully as I can, while Juliette will remain mere bones on this earth! "He'll never be able to forget her or get a good night's sleep. I'll be an eternal reminder that she died in my place!" To that, all that Simon said was… nothing. That night, I watched him standing at the bathroom doorway, motionless for what felt like hours. He stepped inside, lay in the empty bathtub, and curled up like a baby—or, rather, like someone already dead.

"You are dead." "Wait... what?" I looked up at her. "You're dead. We buried you right next to your parents. So unfortunately, you can't just go back," she repeated like she didn't just drop a bomb. Her voice was very nonchalant, that monotonous tone still there like she hadn't just killed me. "What do you mean I'm dead? I'm here. I'm standing here," I asked, wondering if maybe they were crazy or something. Or was I the crazy one?

Fuck, he looks hot when he talks like that. We placed them in their caskets and chained them down. “Have fun down there,” I smirked. I watched as the casket went down. I could hear Bonnie scream when she realized we weren't kidding about burying them alive. Our men started filling the holes and soon no one will know where the two of them are. They will be unmarked graves.

The King commanded the servants to give the body a proper burial in the cemetery, but upon entering the cemetery, the tombs were opened as the dead began to screech in an eery voice. The winds were whooshing furiously as the gate of the cemetery was opening and closing; alarming them, something was lurking around. "Congratulations on your mating ceremony. Our lord sends his regards to you. The war has begun. The dead have risen, the blood is slaying, and the mates are dying. Revenge is screaming, people are mourning, your time is counting, and your mate is fading into darkness." The older man chuckled sinisterly, strangling the struggling man as he drained his blood to the golden goblets to

A pack? Yet I couldn't dismiss the idea completely, not when Bonnie and the whole village believed in me so vehemently. My head started to throb slightly at all the thinking. "That was strange" Orion says as we enter my house. I look at him with puzzled face. "Having a human funeral" Orion adds simply. "What do you mean? Don't you bury your dead?" I ask him. Genuinely curious about his statement. "We burn our dead on a pyre built by their loved ones, at night under the moon. We don't use coffins so that they can ascend" Orion says smiling.

Its mournful tune only adds to the gravity of the situation. I stand in silent watch as his casket is buried six feet under, a small smile playing at the corner of my lips. The twisted satisfaction runs through me like a drug, a euphoria that I never thought was possible. Who knew that watching someone being buried could bring such blissful joy?
