Calla’s POV Seeing that I was face-to-face with one of them, I straightened my back, squared my shoulders, and confronted him. “So… are you still a bully?” I asked, forcing my voice to stay steady. His eyes darkened in response, sharp and unreadable. “What?” he asked, a faint smirk playing at the corner of his lips. “I mean…” I hesitated, measuring my words. “…bullies are cowards. They seek validation through force.”

Ugly, messy, desperate sobs that tore through my chest and left me gasping for air. This wasn't just bullying. This was destruction. This was someone trying to break me completely. And it was working. I didn't know how long I sat there. Minutes. Hours. Time had stopped meaning anything. All I knew was that my phone kept buzzing. Text after text. Notification after notification. Each one a knife in my heart. I reached for it with a shaking hand and glanced at the screen. Unknown number: "Did you see the video? So embarrassing." Unknown number: "Maybe you should transfer to another school."

Yet I have to deal with Plinio and the use of a stun gun is completely fair in my view. Bully isn't just an abuse reserved for somebody fat or slim, short or tall, cross-eyed or four-eyed, shy or talkative, nerd or fool; these are mere excuses. A bully physically, verbally, emotionally, or mentally abuses every single human he sees as vulnerable. It is about the sense of dominance the bully feels by making others feel ashamed of themselves.
