Inside the heavily air-conditioned cafe, the distinct hum of expensive espresso machines masked the ambient noise of the surrounding college campus. Sipping a ginger wellness shot through a flimsy paper straw, Sienna stared blankly at the bustling sidewalk. Heat prickled beneath her skin, a physical rash creeping up her neck whenever she unlocked her phone. She swiped her thumb aggressively across the screen. The viral video of Athena Cole effortlessly shutting her down during the Bruin Plaza rally played on a continuous, mocking loop. Fifty thousand views had already accumulated on the main campus app.

I spilt the tears. My heart was hammering in my chest, and I can't seem to stop replaying the moment. It was just too embarrassing that the person I've had a crush on since i first stare has his brown eyes, even if it was just for a short while, I still can't stop the memory of slap that still replay on my head. I just let my "pride" down and cry my heart out because it was just too hurt, not just because of the slap or the public but because I had a "CRUSH" on him, a crush on a lowful guy.

It's not a bad thing I must say, it's normal! Weird thing about this crush or infatuation thing is that it's stupid, yes it is and I'll say it again, "ITS DUMP"! You want to know why? Let me tell you, a crush is a very strong but brief feeling of love. Being strong means you may find yourself having done serious and foolish stuff in the name of love that isn't even real, ask me I know, am a living testimony. Sometimes you may even get to lose what's more valuable in your life all because of a crush, people do fight with their wives and husbands over a 'crush' you know what am saying.
