Drake struggled for his life, using all his swimming skills, just to get to the surface of the sea, yet even though he was a talented swimmer, he kept drowning. He was losing air, it felt like his breath was being sucked out. He was losing balance, and he knew if he didn't try harder, this would be his end.

ARI I have imagined how it feels like to die. So many scenarios have gone through my mind including drowning. It's one thing to imagine and it's another to experience it. I am sinking, my limbs are usually flapping but I am still going down. The first instinct is to scream, but my mouth fills up my mouth eyes sting and the more I inhale, the more I feel like my lungs are giving up on me. No one is going to save me. At some point, I can only watch the lights above getting further and further, the heaviness growing inside me and pulling me under. The water ripples above me, but it seems like miles away. A figure is coming towards me, almost in slow motion.

I was going to die all over again. “Breathe Jane.” I heard Sebastian whine as I saw blood flow upwards. “I can’t breathe! I’m not a fish.” I screamed and water entered my mouth. Oh shit. “Don’t swallow the water, Jane,” Sebastian exclaimed as we reached the bottom. I took a deep breath and surprisingly I was still alive. I freaked out as a school of fish swam passed me, I turned around and looked at the column of the pier covered in muscles. “Great I’m dead.” I laughed as I danced in the water, “Now I’m dreaming until they decide where my soul should go.” I added as a crab ran away. Why didn't I feel the suffocation this time?

But this time, it was different. I was drowning, water flooding my lungs as I tried to scream, my dress dragging me down into the dark depths as shadows hovered above the water. Bright lights flashed across my vision like fireworks as my lungs burned. I kicked and clawed at the water in desperation, wishing that I had learned how to swim when I had the chance. But it was too late now. I was going to die.

No one can stop you! The river was deep and it flowed quite fast. Mia didn't know how to swim, so she was suffocated by the river. She had seen it on TV, as she didn't know how to swim and had jumped into the river, she couldn't breathe in the water at all. Otherwise, she would have suffocated and even died if the water had entered her lungs. However, she might have had a chance of surviving. Even though it was almost hopeless, she couldn't give up so easily.

When I felt the waves' current getting stronger, i decided to swim back up. When I thought it's easy to swim up, I suddenly felt pain on my legs. It made me nervous. My leg was cramped and strained so bad that I could hardly move it. A scream came out of my mouth before I drowned. I tried so hard to swim but I just can't. I'm drowning and panicking. I wanted to find the water's surface but my body was paralyzed. Oh, Jesus! I feel like I'm dying. Slowly, my lungs started to search for air as my energy is slowly draining.

Time seemed to lose its meaning as he delved further into the bowels of the cave, each turn leading him deeper into the unknown. Suddenly, the ground beneath him gave way, and Aeron plummeted into darkness. His surroundings blurred as he fell, and a sense of weightlessness enveloped him until he crashed into icy water. Panic seized him as he struggled against the relentless pull of the ocean's depths, disoriented and desperate for air. His limbs flailed in the inky abyss, but the surface seemed to elude him. Aeron's thoughts raced, memories of Myra and their daughter flashing before his eyes. The realization that he might never see them again fueled his fight against the drowning darkness.

Instinctively, i grabbed my head in my hands when i felt a sharp pain in my head. Under the full moon, a woman dressed in red was breathing heavily even while drowning at the pit of the ocean. It seemed she was out of life and energy, she let the water current envelop her into its wide bottomless pit. The waves crashed onto her passing her weightless body to the right, then left, front then back and she made no effort to struggle. The side that enveloped her body changed from a transparent pure to red. It was her blood. Even the big fishes that dived towards her, their aim to feed on her- died after inhaling and drinking the water polluted by her blood.

Frowning, Hadden shouted at the pool, "Get out of the pool and get over here, Felicia! Or do you want me to lock you inside forever, huh?!" I floated to him in my agitation and spoke out loud, not that he would hear me, "I wanted to come out. Don't you know that I tried to push against the cover even until my dying breath? I did everything I could to survive! But none of that worked, so I'm dead now." Of course, Hadden could not hear me. How could he? He shouted again, "You won't get my pity like this! I wouldn't have had to lock you in there if you hadn't tried to drown Julia. Get over here now!"

I gasped for air as I struggled to stay afloat. “Help me!” I cried out as my hands flapped helplessly in the water. My legs couldn’t touch the floor of the pool because of how deep it was and I tried pushing my body up to stay afloat but nothing was working. I began to panic and it made everything worse. I could see Yasmine and Yolanda laughing as they watched me drown. “That would teach you bitch! Let’s go, Yasmine,” I watched in horror as they walked out on me. Nobody is coming to save me. I was starting to get tired from the struggling and I shut my eyes. Perhaps, it’s time for me to let go. There’s no use in delaying the inevitable.
