"I have something to tell you." My heart skipped when Giovanni said he had something to tell me. I rubbed my palm against my chest, trying to calm myself down as we walked past the door. As we rounded the fountain, and towards the packhouse gate, he stopped abruptly, his back turned on me. "You're no longer hot, Thalira." He muttered slowly, I almost didn't hear him. "Wh...... What?" I stuttered, my eyes widening. "I wanted you as my mate because you were the prettiest in the pack," He continued and slowly turned to face me.

She breathed against his neck, her hands in his golden hair and the back of his shirt. Theo had his eyes closed, his face pressed into her shoulder and his brows pulled in guilt. They'd gone straight to the Pack house from Atlantia, using a different portal to travel. I finally looked at my watch, almost flinching at the time. Rose hadn't seen them for nearly twenty four hours. No wonder she'd been so panicked. Dane stepped to her, Rose's head snapped up and seeing Dane, she broke down. Though she loved us all, the Alpha inside Dane, Mathias, was Silvena's first mate, Carter and Ulric never had the chance to create the connection they held.

I didn't know how the guy did it but I had respect for him.
