Great fate I know. Today The Alpha King is sending a car for me because I did not find my mate and unfortunately I will be at his disposal. I pulled back slightly, staring at her as the wolf inside me snarled again, louder this time, his tone guttural and filled with something close to rage. Not our mate. My heartbeat thundered in my ears. The air in the room thickened, the scent of her hitting my nose, nothing at all like the enticing smell of wild honey and burnt cedar. The mean-looking man asked. "I told you already, she's the king's mate" Colton yelled and the man scoffed. "If the king found his mate we'll be aware of it. Come down. My guards will search you and make sure you're not a lying intruder" "One step from your men and the guards will have to put you down" "Do you realize I'm an alpha?" He sneered at Colton.
