As the doctor disinfected my wounds with alcohol, she watched with pained eyes, fury simmering beneath the surface.
"That little demon Suri! She’s your biological sister, and she dared to hurt you like this? That’s attempted murder! A delinquent like her is bound for juvenile detention sooner or later!"
I knew she wasn’t wrong. In front of Mom, Suri might act like a sweet, obedient girl, but at school, she smoked, drank, fought, got tattoos, bullied weaker students, and led bully campaigns. Her grades were abysmal.
