Cassandra Clare Reading Order Novelas e Histórias

Chapter One: The Day Everything Burned "Sera! Come see the butterfly cocoons! They are starting to split open!" I dropped my handful of wildflowers and raced toward Mama's voice, my bare feet slapping hard against the warm stone path. The garden smelled like sweet jasmine and wet earth, and I was already planning to ask Papa if we could stay out here until the stars came out so we could count them together like we always did on clear nights. A scream tore through the peaceful afternoon air, and I froze completely, the scattered petals drifting down around my feet. Another scream pierced through the garden, followed by shouting—so much shouting it sounded like the whole pack house was on fire

Cassandra understood and walked away, as she walked out of the secluded area, Alex was first to approach her, but she was quick to kill him. Cassandra could not bring herself to spend one more moment in the Cobswell mansion. Her soul craved answers, she wanted nothing but closure, and sitting back meant she was not going to get that. She walks into the room rummaging around her belongings until she comes to the letter which had been left on her wedding day. “It is now or never, it is time I seek out where I truly belong, to put rest to my soul” Cassandra walks out of the house still in her dress of the day. “Get me the car” Cassandra commanded as Alex got the car ready.

“And Rowan, watch Lyria Voss like a hawk. If she so much as breathes out of rhythm, I want to know.” “Yes, Alpha,” Rowan said again, and disappeared into the shadows of the corridor. _ _ _ The first thing Cassandra did when she got home was kick off her heels at the door like they were the culprits of her ruined night. She walked barefoot through the small flat she shared with Nia, the quiet hum of the fridge the only sound greeting her as she shed her jacket and tossed her handbag onto the couch.

Adrian did not turn immediately, which itself looked suspicious. Then from behind the chapel arch, another figure stepped out slowly. A woman. Dark coat. Hair tied back. Face pale from rain. Cassandra. Alive. The same voice from Mara’s phone now standing physically before us. Naomi stiffened instantly. “You.” Cassandra ignored Naomi completely. Her eyes locked on Adrian first. Then Alexander. Then finally the silver key still in my hand. “You brought the wrong page,” she said calmly. Marcus frowned. “There’s another?” Cassandra nodded.

She wanted me to walk straight into her trap. I looked up at Iris and Gavin. Fresh fire burned through my veins. The elders plotted downstairs. The pack teetered on rebellion. Yet someone had finally shown their hand. The night outside my window carried distant shouts from the courtyard. Doors slammed somewhere in the mansion. The storm inside Ironclaw had only begun but I stood ready. Damien’s body called to me across the miles and I would answer with steel and fury instead of tears. I crossed to the window and stared toward the northern horizon. The message burned against my skin like a brand. Cassandra had made her move. Now I would make mine.

The room went terrifyingly silent for a long moment. I stood behind my desk, the parchment crumpled in my fist, my mind racing through trade treaties, historical alliances, and border disputes. There was no territorial gain for Bloodwyn here. There was no ancient blood feud between us. We had left them alone in their eastern forests, and they had left us alone in our mountains. Then, I looked up. Cassandra was standing by the bookshelf. Her chin was lifted, but her fingers were trembling against her dark green gown. Her honey-brown eyes were locked onto mine, carrying a terrified and vulnerable look that she was fighting with every scrap of her soul to hide.

Cassius said with a smirk, likely mistaking my gaze on the bookshelves as me restraining myself from browsing them. Despite not feeling as enthusiastic as he assumed, I still went for the books. I let my hands trail across the spine of the books, stopping on the thickest one. I carefully pulled it out, afraid to even scratch the cover. “That’s the novel section of the books. There’s really no title on the cover because it’s printed on the first page,” Cassius explained from his bean bag. I nodded at his explanation and opened the book. My heart nearly dropped upon reading the title. Was this just a coincidence? Written in an elegant font was ‘The Second Time Around: Chronicles of Ava Midgen’

The very first words that she read on the primary page is the warning that any content of the book can't be used in darkness, that it should be used only for safety and to put out the self in any harms. Then comes more instructions about what she needs to do in order to make a safe reading and what not. As she opens the next pages, some parts are confusing so she starts reading slowly again. After an hour, which seemed like hours, or maybe minutes because time isn't really something that matter anymore, Cassandra closed the book. Her head is starting to ache from all the thinking so she decided to go back to the Kingdom. And she was surprised that when she's about to open the door of Marcus

The house smelled like wood smoke and jasmine. Cassandra had burned a candle after deleting the digital copies of her journals, the forgeries that had been shared across every corner of the internet. The real versions, handwritten in leather-bound books, remained locked in a small chest at the base of her closet. Until tonight. “I want to read from them,” she said. Claire blinked. “Live?” Cassandra nodded. “If they’re going to turn my pain into headlines, then I’ll speak the truth myself. I’ll give them the unedited version.”

So she would relax and give them a chance to take her by surprise. Cassandra is on edge. Today is not a favourable day for her. First, she failed to install her master's essence into Leo and then Claire escaped. A few hours ago she received the bad news that Claire is dead. Cassandra is disappointed that she lost the leverage over Lionel. Now he wouldn't tell her about the other part of the Shadow stone.
