Dream Mate

Dream Mate

Our oath ceremony was about knowing how to respond to a question. Okay, so I flipped through her binder the other night. I wanted to know what she would have to do and why she was spending so much time with her nose in the binder and the Crone grimoire. And I gotta say it looked like a lot. I didn’t understand most of what was going on, but as long as she did, it would be okay.

All of this authors stories are honestly great, but the personality of Tiberius was truly so well written! Super funny, yet sexy, and also endearing etc. Extremely good job author - so excited for more! :)

This book is worth the read even though I found Tiberius to be annoyingly funny, I still enjoyed this book and the journey of him and Katrina coming together and succeeding in getting out. Every chapter Thales was in was so touching.

Twin Alpha Kings Pup Mate

Twin Alpha Kings Pup Mate

Chapter Eighty-Five: Ceremony Part Two Kiara POV: A new chapter begins in my life, but not one I've chosen. Aiden leads me through the sprawling backyard, his arm around my waist, gripping just a little too tightly. I can tell he's showing off, proud of the elaborate decorations and arrangements made for this evening's ceremony. Fairy lights are woven between the trees, casting an ethereal glow over the proceedings. Beautiful floral arrangements rest on white-clothed tables, and the altar ahead is adorned with an array of flowers and vines. To anyone else, it might look like a scene from a dream, but to me, it's nothing short of a nightmare.

Bound To The Lycan King

Bound To The Lycan King

"I knew what you'd come from. Rushing a choice to someone who's had every choice removed is not a choice." The library was quiet. I thought about the lock on the inside of the door. The library crate. The contact lens solution. The chair in the small hours of the night before the hearing. Every single one of them a form of wait. "Alright," I said. "Alright," he said. — The ceremony was not a performance. I want to make that clear, because the accounts that circulated afterward — and there were many, because representatives from seven courts were present and all of them had scribes — described it in terms of spectacle that misrepresent what it actually was.

Resurrected (Book #9 in the Vampire Journals)

Resurrected (Book #9 in the Vampire Journals)

“Three pinches Rosemary; two pinches dill; one spoonful of crush lavender. Boil in one cup of water with black licorice for one hour, at a high boil. Leave it to cool overnight, then force the vampire in question to drink it in its entirety. Of course, this is useless without the ceremony that accompanies it. One must chant the ancient Latin script, used by the church used for thousands of years—” Caitlin’s heart stopped. As she turned the page, she saw that the next page in the book, the one with the ceremony on it, was torn in half. She could not believe it. Half of the page sat loose in the book, between the pages, displaying only part of the Latin ceremony. The other half of the page was

Married at First Sight

Married at First Sight

Serenity knew why Liberty was calling before Liberty had a chance to speak. “It’s okay. There’s still time. I’ll wait for you.” It was no biggie in delaying the ceremony by five minutes for Serenity. The sisters only had each other for years. They were each other’s most important person. Serenity waited for Liberty during the opening of her bookshop, and Liberty was merely doing the same for her restaurant opening. They hoped they could participate in each other’s important life events. “Tell the chauffeur to be careful on the road. There’s no rush. The ceremony only begins in ten minutes.”

Claimed by the Ruthless Wolf Slayer

Claimed by the Ruthless Wolf Slayer

It was strange and uncomfortable, but I tried to accept it gracefully. Rory found me in the common area, looking through books in the library. “There you are,” she said. “I’ve been looking for you. We need to discuss the ceremony.” “Already?” I asked. “Two weeks isn’t much time,” she said, pulling out a notebook. She is unofficially my assignment and secretary and just everything. “Especially for something this important. We need to choose your ceremonial attire, decide on the vows, plan the feast, coordinate with the neighboring packs who’ll want to send representatives—”

The Devil Alpha And I

The Devil Alpha And I

The Sentinels formed a circle around the fire. Two of them stepped forward, leading me to the fire. The heat was intense, making my skin prickle. I swallowed hard as the flames surged higher, casting an eerie glow on the faces of the gathered Sentinels. “Amelia,” I whispered, glancing at her. She shook her head, stating clearly that she wasn't in agreement with this madness, finally, she stepped forward, carrying a spell book with her. She placed it on the table, picking up a candlelight, she turned to me as though waiting for me to give up, seeing no response she took in deep breaths and started the ceremony.

The Necromantress and the Blood Princess

*** And the ceremony— was about to begin. extend the chapter Great—this is already strong, so I’ll expand it by layering in: - Deeper sensory immersion in the Glades - More faction interaction and tension - Stronger emotional beats for Raven & Victoria - Subtle, creeping unease tied to the larger threat - A longer lead-in right up to the ceremony start *** :::writing block **Bound in Shadow, Bound in Blood** **Book 2** **Chapter 91: Before the Vows** The Glades did not prepare.

The Alpha King's Forbidden Mate

The Alpha King's Forbidden Mate

The same spot they had once stopped at days ago, when all Serena cared about was escaping the palace walls and the whispers of a crown. Now? Now the weight of that crown felt heavier than steel. Serena knelt on the grass, opening the old book in her hands. Its pages, despite the age, were pristine. The ink shimmered faintly as if alive. She read a few lines, mouth moving silently, her eyes growing wider with each word. Theron crouched beside her. “What does it say?” Her voice trembled as she translated. “It speaks of a binding ritual… one where the chosen must either sever or solidify the divine link. If I sever it, the power disperses into the land, lost forever. If I solidify it…”

The 200-Year Bride Swap

The 200-Year Bride Swap

Any sign of hesitation or doubt could fracture the fragile peace I’m trying to build. I stand up, pushing the chair back with a quiet scrape against the floor. My mind is set, the next steps clear but daunting. I grab the leather-bound book from the table, flipping through the pages until I find the section on ceremonies and rites. It’s been years since I’ve read these passages, and they’ve taken on a new significance now. They’re not just old traditions, they’re the framework I need to guide this prophecy into reality.
