The heat radiating from the dome was palpable, but Danial sat calmly in the middle, unphased. He waved his hand, and the dome of Hellfire began to shrink, collapsing inward. The flames twisted and coiled, reshaping themselves into a tiger. I let my hands fall to my sides and suck in air. Binx shifts into cat-form and weaves around my legs. Lucas is covered in blood but hugs me anyway, hand going to the top of my head. He balls my hair in his fist and kisses me.

He said and the demon looked at him gauging him. “When you have killed my entire den? Fuck you.” He said through Serenity as she had trapped the demon in her body and it laughed. “I got a call. I didn’t think it was real. You are Jormungand, and you do have human form. Nice collar.” Jormungand’s grip tightened but then he stopped remembering whom he was holding. The demon seemed to take more from the loosening of his grip than was really there though.

They were both shocked because there had never been a situation where Dhiren had to show his beast form in combat mode. Keffy knew Dhiren was in beast mode but not for battle. Dhiren uses that form to warm Keffy. But this form was three times bigger than the form when he warmed Keffy. With such a gigantic form, Dhiren blocked all the snowballs that came their way. He dispelled all the snowballs with great dash and dread.

He turned his head looking at me before speaking again. "You aren't the one who kissed the devil little one, I am the one who kissed the devil. I am the one who sold his soul to the devil." He said in a tired voice. "Were you in much pain?" I asked, not taking my eyes off him even though tears kept running down my face. "I don't feel pain anymore. I've become numb." He stared at the ceiling again. I stood on my elbow so I could be the one he watched instead of the ceiling.
