The two brown wolves were several hundred yards into the woods before they heard the howls of pain, the growling and snarling, and the call for help. They were both startled by the black wolf that streaked by them so fast they couldn't even tell who it was. The white wolf was right behind him.

Most of them listened and walked slowly toward where we were going to give them shelter. The ones with big heads, led by the one who broke my window, pushed my patience to the limit when they lunged at one of my people and bit his hand. I half-shifted and grabbed the wolf, pinned it down, pulled out his throat, and threw it in front of everyone. They go back, but one of the females stays behind. Who is in charge of these dumb dogs? The three wolves streaked through the graveyard, darting from shadow to shadow across the green grass, until they slipped into the suburban street. Across the road from Aislen’s house, a Bichon Frise being walked by a bored boy whose eyes were glued to his phone growled and barked, tugging on its leash, and snapping at the leaves that hid them, until Rhett revealed his teeth with a dark growl. The boy looked up, startled, but did not see them hidden in the bush. He tugged on the dog’s leash. “C’mon Butch, do your poo already so we can go home.”

The both of them attacked me with kisses and I giggled seeing them jumping towards me. "What's their name?" "Eden and Morty." Ares answered as he pointed at the dog. I break through the trees at the eastern border and see them. Five Silverfang wolves are circling around old man Henry, one of our elderly pack members. There's blood on the ground and Henry is injured, trying to defend himself but losing. I launch myself at the nearest Silverfang, sinking my teeth into his shoulder and taking him down hard. He yelps and tries to throw me off but I hold on, shaking my head violently until I taste blood.
