In my sleep, I dream about my sister. The scene was in our home village. The weather is sunny. My sister and I were tending to our vegetable garden in front of our wooden house. We get our food from the crops we plant and from the cattle we raise on our property. We also catch fish in the river and streams nearby. But the peaceful scene rapidly changed into a darker mode.

I woke up to a loud banging coming from the entryway. When taking a look around the room, I found my clothing draped neatly at the foot of the king sized bed. I stood up and quickly got dressed. I exited just in time to find my older brothers gawking at me leaving Koa’s bedroom. I rolled my eyes, crossing my arms across my chest. “How was your sleep, little sister?” Isaac teased. I glared at him, causing him to erupt into loud fits of laughter.

When we see them all asleep, we quietly tip toe out of their room and head towards ours.
