Not Your Typical Live-In Son-In-Law

Not Your Typical Live-In Son-In-Law

The teeth weren’t metaphorical. They were real. Jagged, asymmetrical, layered like a shark’s, but fused with synthetic filaments that pulsed faintly with electricity. The creature that rose from the open pod in Zone Five bore no resemblance to Charlotte or anyone in the command chain. It had no face. Just ridged boneplate, blackened armor grown over its frame like exoskeletal plating, and those impossible teeth. No eyes. No voice. Just breath. Wet, heavy, steaming in the cold light of the chamber.

Teeth and Thorns

Teeth and Thorns

When rational herbalist Noah inherits his grandfather’s shop on the edge of the dark Blackwood forest, he expects a quiet life of cataloging rare flora, not monsters. But a routine foraging trip brings him face-to-face with Francis, the brooding Alpha of a declining werewolf pack. Intoxicated by Noah’s scent, Francis’s inner wolf immediately recognizes the stubborn human as his fated mate. Francis has sworn off mates to protect his territory, and Noah doesn't believe in fairy tales. TORN BETWEEN ALPHAS.

TORN BETWEEN ALPHAS.

He spat, and two of his teeth clattered to the ground. Lucian's eyes widened in horror as he stared at his teeth on the floor. He picked them up and started filling them back into his mouth. He let out a groan when the teeth weren't staying in their position. “My teeth...” he muttered, his voice barely above a whisper. The words were filled with horror, and his hand trembled as he touched his swollen jaw. “What have you done?” How could the almighty Moonshield Alpha lose his teeth? What a shame!. This should be a reminder of his cruelty towards people.

Their Human

Their Human

I'm not falling for it. "How about I just get you a toothpick or some dental floss?" "A piece of wood or string isn't enough." He said with a frown. "A toothpick should work." I told him. "A toothpick is for teeth... I have goddamn canines." He grumbled, opening his mouth and baring his teeth at me. My mouth dropped open at what I saw. His teeth were sharp and his two upper canines were ten times bigger than his other teeth. Those were the teeth of a big cat, like a lion or tiger. They were not human teeth.

Begin Again

Begin Again

He asked in a voice meant to melt the panties off of any woman within a kilometre radius. As if he wasn't already deadly enough, he had a cleft too. The fact that it wasn't so prominent and only seemed to show itself when he spoke or smiled, which was all he did in the last fifty seconds, made it all the more devastating. "I don't need your help," Eden said icily, hating him a little. He had no right to be so attractive. "Okay, then!" He shrugged, showing off two rows of perfectly straight teeth as he smiled. They were so white she thought they might be veneers. They had to be. There was no way anyone would have such great teeth unless they had an excellent dentist.

Almost one of the best. Hence, totally agreed to one of the reviewers chapters leading to the end of the novel less interesting perhaps too much effort in making some catastrophe to the story to put some twist. could have made more effort in making the end not to subtle or too obvious.

Val Sims is one of my favorites. Begin Again is the first of her novels that I read and I loved it so much, I had to read all her other works and I love them also. I hope she continues to write because she tells a good story and her characters are believable.

Bride of the Beast

Bride of the Beast

Great aching pangs for the mountain cities' blood and ashes. “The feast would come soon enough,” I sang, feeling a grin tear across my snout until it was almost painful to hold the giant ends of my mouth up and I let it fall back into a sneer. I hadn’t quite managed to half-shift the way he did, the Hybrids we were eating diminished far quicker than we had been producing them. I shook my head furtively, feeling the multitude of my teeth rattle noisily in my mouth, some of them hadn't belonged to me, but I was special. The owners probably wouldn't have needed it anyway.

Magnus: Dragon Lord

Magnus: Dragon Lord

Smarluuten said, placing a clawed hand on Rex’s shoulder, grinning with his large maw at Grub, his many teeth showing. “See wonky leg,” Grub said, his mouth splitting into a wide smile, his eyes dazzling brightly, “Scaley teeth gets it, a strong man need fuel for muscles.” “My teeth have no scales,” Smarluuten said, his grin changing to a confused frown, his finger touching his teeth. “He seems to have names invented for everyone,” Rex sighed, dragging his hand over his face, “I don’t know how it's easier than saying a name, but that’s Grub.”

Celestina added. "I see. So those who helped the mother church were the dark sorcerers? "Now you get it, young wolf." Answered Celestina while sipping her tea and tugged at her ponytail. “Also, our teeth never stop regenerating. New teeth are always building in our jaws and pushing out the old ones. And that’s a reasonable thing because otherwise, we’d endure centuries of tooth decay.” She added with a smile, showing him her sparkled white teeth that made them both laugh.

When Life Takes A Turn

When Life Takes A Turn

Now, he had four extra teeth. But there was more! In the past, his teeth had not been the tidiest, most handsome one there was—in fact, he even had two teeth damaged by plaques. Now, however, his teeth had become tidy and pearly-white all on their own! Even his two damaged teeth quit his mouth, and new teeth had grown out of where they were. It was a change so apparent and magnificent that not even any teeth correction procedures could rival. It was so abnormal and unscientific, that any dentist would have shouted about how impossible it was if they knew about it. It was not something a normal adult would experience!

I like the story so much. The plot is direct though. One can easily predict what's next. I like the heart of this guy Zayn. He can easily hide his happiness and endure torture, bullying and humiliation in the name of love. Love for a complacent woman.

Accidentally Became Luna.

Accidentally Became Luna.

I said as I opened the freezer. “A huge difference I can see,” Malakhi muttered, and I saw him staring at some woman's ass, following her with his eyes. I slapped the back of his head, and he turned to look at me, unaffected by my slap. ”Ow?” “You’re an idiot,” I said as I walked towards the till to pay for my stuff. “Do you want candy?” I asked as I showed him the sour candies, and he grimaced, shaking his head. “Not good for my teeth, neither is it for you," he pointed to his canines that extended out before he pointed to my belly. "That pup growing in you needs meat, not candies,” the cashier looked shocked. I chuckled nervously and pointed to my teeth.
