Is there someone here?”) He immediately peeked past the worn, serious-looking books and saw a cloaked figure of a small child–a little girl, judging by her long locks of lovely black hair and a white dress that shimmered in the light like a bride’s wedding gown. ‘…The knight found a princess.’ A split second after, she suddenly fell to the floor, twisting violently like a fish on a hook as though her entire body was being lashed violently by an invisible whip.

Chapter One Hundred And Sixty One Amidst a moonlit garden, the Knight meticulously arranged the engagement fairytale, each detail woven into a dreamy tapestry of romance. The soft glow of lanterns illuminated the scene as he nervously awaited Annabelle's arrival. Roses adorned every corner, and the air was filled with anticipation. As Annabelle approached, the Knight's heart raced. He took a deep breath, clad in his finest armor, and with a voice filled with sincerity, he asked, "Annabelle, will you make me the happiest man in the realm and marry me?"

The seconds passed, and with each stroke of the clock they seemed immeasurably long. Then, the door opened.

She felt the fang’s hum, channeled her dream-silk lullaby into the knight’s mind: > “By starlit vow and echoed call, > Let steel be still and darkness fall…” The knight staggered mid-charge, lance clattering as his knees buckled. His horse whinnied, stamping. The other riders hesitated, confusion rippling through their ranks. Vera seized her chance. She spun, dagger flashing, slicing through the fallen lance’s haft. The blade gleamed with silver threads, and two more knights crumbled, eyes glazing as dream-silk tendrils wrapped around their armor.
