Most of the time, I just filled it with water just to have the pleasure of seeing the dark color giving way to the brightness that contained the drawing of the most famous magnificent witchcraft school in the literary world.

I guess they made up for now. "Wait, is this for me?" I ask with a smile. Harry nods. "They're just little gifts, to get you more excited about going to work," he explains and gestures for me to approach. Of course, I don't hesitate for a second, "I picked everything out myself, for my girl." There are shoes, bags, and clothes here, even some House DeBlanc earrings. Everything has an ultra-feminine and cute vibe, so I totally believe Harry chose it for me because he always thinks pink is my thing for some reason. The way he sees me makes me feel things.

I told them honestly. “Hush we got you presents deal with it” she said leaving no room for arguing. “Mine and Walters presents first” she said handing them to me. They had brought me a new laptop, some new clothes, and a box that contained a small spell book, some dried herbs, a vile filled with purple liquid, and crystals I had been admiring at the shop this week. “Oh, my Goddess all of this is amazing, thank you both so much” I said hugging her then turning to Walter and hugging him.

Lillie mostly enjoyed the wrapping paper. Roman had bought her dozens of presents. The wrapping paper still won. Typical. Hours seemed to pass in laughter. Photos. Coffee. More presents. More wrapping paper. More chaos. Then eventually... Somebody handed Roman a gift. He looked surprised. Actually surprised. "What?" Harper rolled her eyes. "It's a Christmas present." "I know." "Then open it." Roman looked around the room. At everyone. The children. The women. The men. The tree. The house.

I whispered. " I didn't mean to capture you here Mrs Rey. " He smiled. " Don't you dare to talk to her? " Harry said with wrath. " Congratulations Mr and Mrs Rey. See how simple it was. You don't wanna miss your flight. Before you leave, I've got a present for you. " he said and nodded at his man. More than Jack I was scared of Harry. His posture was menacing. He came back with a girl. Her slim, sharp features and innocent look almost of my height was in a black summer dress. She wasn't carrying any gifts with her.

She says nothing, simply flashing white teeth to me then turning away. Going teary? Elizabeth tugs at Michael's robe. "What have you given Charlotte for Christmas? I've not seen whatever-it-is." "That's because I haven't given it to her yet." He fetches a package from a cupboard, prettily wrapped and very obviously a book. As she pulls at ribbons and bows, it falls open to reveal a collector's edition of 'The Complete Sherlock Holmes'. Beaming, she retreats to an armchair, flicking through the colour plates...

I roll my eyes and elbow Bellamy in the ribs. “Sure.” Harry answers, waving around his right hand which is still clutching what I can now see is a shiny glass bottle full of something purple. “Incubi delivery service. Where we always deliver the whole package.” He says with a wink. I groan. “That was terrible Harry.” I complain. “I could try another one. You would be surprised how many lines I can come up with using the word ‘package.’ Harry offers. “Please don’t” Bellamy says dryly.

What followed was Christmas morning chaos Charlotte opening presents with the enthusiasm of someone who’d been personally deprived, James watching from Seraphine’s lap with wide eyed confusion, wrapping paper everywhere, the particular joy and exhaustion of young children experiencing Christmas. “MAMA! DADA! Look what Santa brought!” Charlotte held up the large dollhouse she’d been requesting for months. “It’s PERFECT! Santa knows EVERYTHING!” “Santa is very observant,” Damien agreed, already starting to assemble the dollhouse which had approximately four thousand small pieces.
