Claimed By His Savage Brother Novels & Stories

“Nonsense, my sister does not have a mate. She has been recuperating after her terrible ordeal.” I hesitate, I realise he doesn’t know who I am. “I’m ever so sorry to disagree, but she is my mate. I’ve been signing a treaty with your father… after what my father did to her,” I say carefully, trying to portray I am not my father. “You,” he spits, taking a step towards me, “You destroyed her, how dare you claim to be her mate! Your father orchestrated the whole thing!” He takes another menacing step towards me.

The forest kept him, claimed him for its silence, and I had inherited both his pack and his obsession. And my brother… my brother had been worse in his arrogance. Blind to history, blind to the lessons of blood and bond. He had believed he could do what my father could not. He had set traps, led squads, cornered wolves. He had underestimated the white wolf, underestimated the power of a mate bonded and tethered to a protector Alpha. He had died screaming into the hollow, fur singed, bones broken, scent mingling with the mist in a final, failed claim.

"Will you ever dare to hurt Sage again?" "I didn't attack her!" I cried, struggling against the warriors' hold. "Kael, let my brother go! He's only eighteen! He just got accepted to Harvard!" Five-year-old River crossed his small arms, his face emotionless. "The evidence is clear. Why are you still lying?" Four-year-old Stone nodded along, his tone innocent yet cruel. "Mommy, if you're so scared of Uncle dying, you shouldn't have attacked Aunt Sage. She's our precious one."

he said, taking another step closer, “if you refuse, or if you make it a small, shameful thing you try to hide… I will take my broken parents, and we will leave. And I will tell our story to every pack, every village, every traveler we meet. I will not say ‘rebirth.’ I will say ‘possession.’ I will say a soul-witch named Nadia Moonshade killed our daughter’s spirit and stole her body to seduce two Alphas. I will make you into the monster my father already sees.” His words were like ice water thrown in my face. He could do it. He could destroy everything, my reputation, the pack’s standing, our chance to fight Maya and Ronan. He could turn the whole world against us. “You wouldn’t,” I breathe

I had two elder siblings, a brother and sister who actually despised me, my brother’s eyes always burned with envy, plotting to kill me. He believed my powers threatened his claim to the throne so at seventeen, he lured me to the forest with his friend, claiming it was to make peace. He drugged my drink with sleeping pills and his plan was murder, but my powers couldn’t be subdued. I tore him apart, my wolf unstoppable, blood on my hands. His friend escaped and lied that I killed my brother to take the throne. They believed him, branded me demonic, a monster, isolating me like a child they regretted bearing.

I ask sarcastically. He chuckles and says with a snarky tone “No, by showing him that if he’s not interested, someone else is. So he either steps up, stops fighting it, and accepts this bond or face the fact that you will be fair game” “By someone else you mean you?” I ask in a baffled tone. “Yes, me. Why does it sound so impossible?” he asked softly. I blinked several times before I answered bluntly “Because I’m a savage rogue who killed people for a living. Your brother thinks he’s cursed because I turned out to be his mate and you want to simply take his place?”

I had given my life to a man who only wanted my money and my land. "You’re going to get sick out here." A voice came from the shadows. it was deep and rough. It sounded like thunder. I spun around. My eyes turned bright yellow because I was scared and angry. A man was leaning against the wall. He was huge. He had broad shoulders and messy black hair. He wore a heavy leather jacket with a wolf skull on the back. He had a scar on his face, and his eyes were dark grey. I knew him. He was Lucian Vailant. He was Julian’s older brother. He was the man who was supposed to be the leader, but he was sent away years ago. People said he was dangerous.

He kissed my hand again. “I know I met you first, I was slower and younger then but I'm not anymore now. Stop treating me like a kid,” He said, resting my bruised my hand on his cheek as he held it tenderly. My blood staining his cheek. “But you're still a kid. You will forever be a kid to me. I'm too old for you and this — is forbidden. You are forbidden fruit I'm not allowed to crave for,” I uttered, softly. “You're not old for me. I'm now a man and not the boy that left USA twelve years ago. You can crave for a forbidden fruit too. Miriam —

“You don’t belong in this pack! You never did!” “You’re right,” I gasped, flipping him off me with all my strength and pinning him down. “Because I’m nothing like you.” He tried to break free, but I sank my claws into his shoulder, making him scream. “You stabbed your own brother. You helped our father torture innocents. And you dare talk about who belongs?” Blood dripped from his mouth as he chuckled bitterly. “He’s not your father. You’re not one of us.” I leaned closer, my voice low and deadly. “And thank the goddess for that.”

It didn't help either that I pounced on him, ready to attack, and it took almost eight men to hold me back. He sighed and hung his head as if he was about to make a huge decision that he didn’t like. “It is with great sorrow that I have to put my dear brother to death.” He declared, “He clearly is disturbed; he attempted to kill me and has refused my help.” The pack seemed to be eating his bullshit up. I was dragged to be beheaded, but I was able to escape, and I ran and never looked back. I was living out there, surviving on almost nothing, when Brody found me.
