Claire Booth Novels & Stories

“Claire Jones, what are you doing here?” Claire Jones was Winifred’s classmate in high school. Back then, she and Winifred were deemed as the Two Golden Flowers of the class. Claire was the type of girl who liked make-up and dressing sensually, while Winifred was relatively pure in her style. Even with her bare face, Winifred could compete with Claire. Hence, while they were the Golden Flowers in name, Winifred was truly the most beautiful girl in class.

The two drank a glass of whiskey as they watched the water of the Nile pass them. "So, this Villa Du Bois woman, what's her deal?" Skyler asked. "She's a modern day vampire hunter, and she's bloody good at it" "How did she find us so fast?" "She has a nack for it I guess" Skyler heard Claire was short in her answers. "Are you ok?" "Yeah, why?" "You seem not to want to talk about her?" Claire dug in her pocket and took out a mangled bullet. "This, is what she shot you with"

"Okay, let's do it. But first, let's go over everything again. We can't afford any mistakes." "You know what? Let's set up a meeting tomorrow. Let's meet up with this actress. Let's make this as fast as possible," I suggested. "Sure, I will," Claire agreed. ********* The next day, Claire and I set our plan into motion. We arranged a meeting with the actress, a stunning woman named Isabella, under the guise of discussing a potential role in an upcoming film. Isabella, flattered by the attention and eager to further her career, agreed to meet. Claire had chosen the location carefully, knowing it would make Isabella feel special and important. I sat beside Claire, ready to support her in the co

Claire leaned down and said, "You two ruin another table from this indoor wrestling you're getting jobs to pay for it. Or learning how to build me a new one, I bet I could quit my job and make you two work for me as furniture builders.” Claire was a pretty small woman, with a petite figure. At 5 foot 2 inches, she couldn't exactly bring fear from her height but she had the mom stare down perfectly. Plus they knew not to mess with the woman when she had the wooden spoon in hand. Brayden and Lilly stopped wrestling while standing instantaneously bowing their heads and folding their arms. They mumbled their apologies and quickly shuffled forward to sit at the table.

He even invited her to join them for lunch! Anger had made her leave the compartment earlier. She needed a good plan, and fast. She could not let a nobody like her take Axel away from her. Finding out about her basic information was easy. Claire McLennie was born and bred right there in Creek Falls. Her profile was not so interesting in Lisa's point of view. She had never travelled out, and all the schools she attended were public schools. Her file was inaccessible. Lisa thought that was odd and called her investigator. "What do you mean, you can't access it?"

"Just because I couldn’t leave home for a few days doesn’t mean you can hide everything from me. Regina, it is not just you working toward this dream. I have been training you for so long for this day. I want you to win this competition! I don’t want that bitch to spoil this chance for you." Regina felt a knot tighten in her stomach at her mother’s harsh words. She could sense the pressure building inside her. Claire hadn’t attended today’s ceremony due to the scandal surrounding her. Although the videos of her embarrassing fall had been deleted but the memory still fresh in everyone’s minds. Desperate to shift the narrative, Claire had pushed her PR team to promote her good deeds such as

Claire growled. She gave the phone to Gavin and said to the guys, "Find me Cain's location, imma go there to bust his head, he needs some beating." "Okay, Chairwoman." Claire went to her room and dressed up in a flash. She dressed in a black second-skin leather jumpsuit which had a zipper on its front. She zipped it to her chest line, intentionally leaving some parts of her cleavage open, and she put on a pair of black leather cover heels.

Clara could empathise with them as it was hard to socialise with elite fashion snobs. “Hello,” Clara said and walked up to them. “I recognised you three from the boutique and thought you might need a familiar face to talk to.” She smiled widely and tried not to freeze up when Beckah’s gaze swept over her. This was someone who had made a contract with a demon at the age of 10 and had tried give her soul to that demon. “I do remember you,” Beckah said. “Are you an influencer as well?” Clara shook her head. “No, my grandfather is the CEO and founder of St. Clair. It’s a popular fashion brand, you’ve probably heard of it.”

Craig was the biggest story the press had on the Lachlan heiress right now because we hadn’t given them anything bigger yet. Chin high, I stepped out. Look at me. I’m the story here. I walked the driveway, heels clicking against the stone, jeans and coat pulled tight against the night air. New hair, flawless makeup, attitude sharper than a blade. I’m the story. Tonight, the gossip wouldn’t be about Craig. The world’s eyes would be on me. “Impromptu press conference?” Williams muttered beside me. “As your bodyguard, I have to warn you—Clara is going to kill you.”

“Not my ex-husband.” Claire nodded, but she did not move on. She paused and tilted her head a little, like she understood. “Of course,” Claire said. “Of course. But you have to admit, the world is fascinated. A woman who walked away from a billionaire. Who built an empire from nothing. Who refused to be invisible.”
