Claire Redfield Novels & Stories

Claire walked to the living room but she stopped dead on her track by the scene before her. Her bag fell to the ground as she gasped, raising a hand to her mouth and Claire stared in horror at Josie Arrington who was in a pool of her own blood. She moved her wobble feet to her body and stared at the blood which flowed. " Oh my god " Claire muttered underneath her breath. " Josie. " She called, her voice barely audible as tears gathered up in her eyes. She fell to the ground beside her body and she wanted to touch her but she stopped herself. One thing she has learned from horror movies.

While my warriors worked to evacuate the bodies, the medics finally arrived—along with Chen Lien and a few of his men. His eyes swept over the carnage before settling on me. “I… didn’t expect things to turn out this bad.” I gritted my teeth, my hands balling into fists. My rage was barely contained. “Christopher Gale just signed his own death warrant.” “Did they take Claire?” he asked. “Danny’s barely alive, and I searched every inch of this cabin. Claire isn’t here.” My voice was sharp. “And I smelled that damn fake Alpha in one of the rooms. It was disgusting.”

“E-Everything happened too fast, Kiel!” Zekiel gripped his own hair, frustration boiling over. “Kiel, we have to save them now,” Hero urged. Zekiel met his gaze and gave a sharp nod. “We attack.” --- Claire woke to water splashing on her face. Blinking, she saw a woman with burn scars smirking down at her. “C-Camille.” The woman grinned at being recognized. “The one and only.” Claire rolled her eyes. “You’re still not dead?”

These people deserved that at the very least. "I-I'm glad I'm okay too. T-thank you for inviting us," I said with a small smile. Soon, another car drove in, and out came a very beautiful lady with blood-red lipstick. She gave me a rueful look, a smirk hidden at the corner of her mouth. Then she walked over. "Thank the heavens you're okay, Zyliah. I know you don't remember me. I'm Claire, Alexa's mother and Sayge's girlfriend." I was about to take the hand she had extended, but the woman calmly pulled me away, walking me towards the house, with Delia and Natalie following behind.

I looked at the photo on the file again, the real Claire, smiling faintly, unaware her life was now intertwined with mine. “So she’ll wake up someday?” “That depends on you,” he said simply, then added with a lazy grin, “Now, are you done asking questions, or do you plan to faint again?” I looked up again, but Red was gone. Vanished into thin air. Typical. Fine. I was on my own now. The glass doors slid open, and my reflection stared back at me. Claire Hart’s face, Elizabeth Wakefield’s soul. Let the show begin. - I pushed open the glass door, nerves coiling like live wires beneath my skin.

--- I meet Damien Wolfe at Marcella's at precisely noon. He's already seated when I arrive, and I spot him immediately—tall, dark-haired, wearing a suit that probably costs more than I make in three months. Handsome, just as Father promised, but in a severe way. Sharp jawline, intense dark eyes, the kind of face that belongs on magazine covers or corporate boardrooms. He doesn't stand when I approach. Doesn't smile. Just watches me with an expression I can't read. "You're Claire Reid." Not a question. A statement.

The one that had started this final, deadly chase. Slowly, as if sensing their eyes on the screen, the woman turned. The breath left Elena’s body in a rush. It wasn’t Mrs. Gable. The face that filled the screen, serene and sharp and terrifyingly alive, was one she had only seen in old, hidden photographs. Claire Vance. Alive. Watching them. And smiling.

Claire replied as she reached for her canvas bag. Julian turned to face his wife, his gaze unreadable. "If that’s the case, check your phone before you walk out the door." Claire furrowed her brow. She had hesitated to turn on the device. The memory of thousands of hateful notifications she’d received the day before still left a small trauma in her mind. With slightly trembling fingers, she pressed the power button. She prepared for the worst, but what she saw left her frozen in place. "This can’t be real," Claire murmured.

They were examining the damaged component that had brought the entire structure down, trying to determine exactly how someone could have interfered with it. I knew the answer and I knew how it had been done and I knew why and every time another report appeared, I had to remind myself that nobody had connected it to me. I had been careful. Then Claire's name appeared across my screen. CLAIRE LAURENT IS ALIVE. I stopped walking. My fingers went cold around the phone. I already knew Claire was alive. That wasn't news to me. I had known she had survived. I had watched from a distance as Damien brought her back to the penthouse. I knew about the pregnancy. I knew she had begun remembering pieces

Aware only of the weight of his head in her lap and the terrifying stillness of his body and the way his breathing sounded wrong, too shallow, too slow. "I need you," she whispered, leaning down close to his ear. "I need you. Do you hear me? Reid Callahan. So you have to wake up. You have to be okay. Because I want you in my life. I can't—" Her voice broke entirely. Footsteps pounded on the sidewalk. "Move!" came a roar and the people parted to show Hal. "Ms. Radcliffe!" His face got a closed look, when he saw the scene in front of him. Claire was right behind him, her hand flying to her mouth, unconcerned about the blood.
