The thick stone blade impaled the grey-skinned monstrosity perfectly through the sternum. The clone did not even flinch. It grabbed the shaft of the spear and violently snapped it in half. The wound in its chest knit together in a fraction of a second, the pale flesh aggressively regenerating around the broken stone tip. The clone stepped inside the bearkin's reach and drove a fist into the warrior's ribs, a blow so fast and heavy it sounded like a cannon shot.

Enough for the clone to drive a knee into his side, crack a rib, and slam him into the wall. Elias coughed. Blood hit the floor. The clone stepped forward. “Did they give you a name?” Elias wiped his mouth. “I took one.” The clone’s eyes narrowed. “That was your first mistake.” The power flickered. Then failed. He turned into a flash of white light and attacked Wilbur again. Wilbur faced him head-on once more and their spears formed an azure storm and a white storm again. However, the man in the white storm created a clone at that moment. The clone was faster than the man in armor, and he quickly went behind Wilbur to stab him in the back.

“The night of the storm, you said you’d never let me face it alone.” Kai blinked. The memory flickered in his eyes. The clone smirked. “Cute,” she said. “But he said that to both of us.” Zane’s voice cut through the tension. “Enough games!” He lunged forward, grabbing the control tablet from the wall and slamming it against the emergency switch. Max stupidly asks him.
