Miyamoto Jiruchi, atau MJ, seorang gadis pemandu sorak di salah satu SMA di Kanto telah diculik, diperkosa, dan dibunuh. Keberadaannya tidak diketahui selama bertahun-tahun. Pencarian dikerahkan, penyelidikan disegerakan, tapi tidak membuahkan hasil. Tidak ada bukti yang kuat, tidak ada saksi mata yang mempunyai opini kuat yang bisa dijadikan sebagai bukti.
