It controls every idea, thought and dream which slither within my brain tissues. And that is how it connects to all that I think, I dream, I yearn for. It is like the first LED bulb in a string of decorative LED-lights blinking in a rhythmic loop. Forever.

I think you will too. I want to say something about the tropes this book inhabits. Forced proximity, second chance romance, billionaire romance, the redemption arc — these are tropes because they describe real things. Proximity genuinely does work. Second chances are genuinely possible. Wealth creates genuinely specific dynamics in relationships, the way that any large power differential does. And people genuinely change, when the conditions are correct and the motivation is real and the time is sufficient.
