TRAPPED

TRAPPED

Tears fall quickly down my face, and at this point, I don’t even care. “Miss Price……” his voice fades into the background, as I perceive an amazing smell, pleasant to my nostrils. I feel my Wolf jump inside me, and I am about to turn to see the one who smelled so good when I feel someone grab me and inhale my scent. “Mine,” a voice whispers hungrily. I close my eyes in fear. Slowly, I open my eyes. And I see him. With terror, I quickly realize that Don Richardo is my other mate, and he is so scary.

Maybe Wrong, Maybe Right

Maybe Wrong, Maybe Right

Quinn I looked around the place that used to be our campground. The sigh was one straight out of a horror movie. Corpses and torn tents lay scattered across the clearing, giving it a desolate, post-apocalyptic feel. At some point, Salome took control and I shifted. I blacked out and when I came back, Troy was standing over me, commanding me to shift. His commands didn’t work on me, but they worked on Salome. She couldn’t resist an order from Troy. “What happened?” I asked, completely confused.

It was obvious that she couldn't compute just what had happened. So, she did what she always did—she started throwing a tantrum. "That ugly freak! You're still thinking about her? What does she have that I don't? Is it just because she looks a little like me? Are you saying the imitation is better than the real thing?"

into a "Trope." "Stop it!" Silas roared, his gold-veined wolf form erupting in a final, terminal pillar of heresy. He didn't strike Sarah. He struck the Tablet. He used the "Ugly Truth" of his own 30-year pride to "Contaminate" her "Perfect Ending." He showed her the smell of the blood on the silver-dagger—not as a plot point, but as a "Biological Trauma." The tablet didn't break. It "Inverted."

"If you are really sorry, then go apologize to the girl you just tried to take advantage of and you see you and I can only be friends nothing more than that" Tory replies trying to be as clam as possible. "Humphrey if you don't have anything to say, I have to go to bed now and don't try anything funny trust me you wouldn't like the outcome" Tory said calmly but with anger evidence in her voice. But it was not so easy to let her go. Before she came along Marco felt like he had lost himself somewhere. three years ago when he was forced into this business back again, something that he had run away from. he felt like he lost every single part of himself and there was nothing to live for, he despised this world and yet he ruled it. It was like a hollow feeling in his chest where he knew that he took breaths in and did all that he was supposed to do but he could no longer feel like he was alive and he was just a machine commanding people and getting work done.

Too Late to Regret: The Billionaire’s Unwanted Ex

Too Late to Regret: The Billionaire’s Unwanted Ex

If the script called for a dogfight, they would fly in predictable patterns. $$V_{script} = \int_{0}^{t} \frac{\text{Trope Density}}{\text{Human Spontaneity}} dt$$ "Dad, bank left, then do something completely illogical!" Leo yelled. "Sing a song! Tell a joke! Anything that wasn't in a 1940s movie!" Lucian didn't sing. Instead, he reached for the manual fire extinguisher, smashed the glass, and began spraying the foam directly into the glider's intake. It was a move so "un-cinematic" and chaotic that the Dilation Field sputtered.

Shadows of the Lost

Shadows of the Lost

She’d been trying to siphon its information out of his father, but the king did not give it to her. “Troxe came from the Ancient Shadow Transcript which can be separated in two terms: tro and xe. Tro can be translated as sacrifice and xe as a closest l**k. This means Troxe is an artifact one can give to her friends, relatives whatsoever. Wearing this will protect the Wielder but at the expense of the giver’s energy. That’s what make it dark.” The teacher gave his student a sleepy look, and then, focused back on the book. “However, under no circumstances will I be revealing the secret behind it, as it is highly prohibited by—”

The world building is well-crafted and just by the narration na hindi gumagamit ng deep english words, it really brings the reader in the world of the mc. Prologue pa lang, one can tell the mc is someone strong-headed and even though she lost her memories, that characteristic didn't change.

Frequently Asked Questions

Tropes are like the seasoning in stories; they can really make or break them! One popular trope that keeps popping up in romance novels is the 'enemies to lovers' storyline. There’s just something so captivating about two characters who start off disliking each other but gradually realize they’re actually perfect for one another. It’s dramatic, tense, and loads of fun to read as they navigate their feelings. I've gone through countless books that play with this trope, and each time, it feels refreshing to witness their transformation, usually filled with snarky comments before the inevitable love declaration. Titles like 'The Hating Game' really dive deep into this, and the witty banter just adds fuel to this trope's fire!

Another enchanting trope I often can't resist is the 'third wheel' scenario. There’s typically this awkward, yet loveable character who hangs around while two main characters are falling in love. It adds an interesting dynamic, often filled with hilarious situations and sometimes unexpected feelings as the third wheel finds someone of their own. It's like a reminder of the complexities of love—sometimes it's not just about the main coupling; there can be layers of relationships that make the narrative richer! Honestly, books that explore this often reflect real life in such amusing ways.

Lastly, the ‘forbidden love’ trope always draws me in. There’s an undeniable allure to situations where love violates societal norms, be it due to class differences, family feuds, or even supernatural barriers. The stakes feel so much higher when you’re rooting for lovers who have to overcome real obstacles. Stories like 'Romeo and Juliet' or even more modern twists, like 'The Fault in Our Stars', play deftly with this idea. It's such a powerful way to evoke all the feels, and I often find myself on the edge of my seat, craving that sweet, bittersweet outcome.
