At the end of the year, after a fight involving erasers, pens, and flying notebooks, she finally understood that Miguel and I were like brothers and sisters. To think that after such a beginning we would end up like this, she and Miguel have been engaged for almost two years and living together in the apartment across the street from mine (which has always been the green-eyed brunette's) for almost one.
