Maybe it all came from the lingering frustration about every little thing since my little family reunion at school. I tried not to think about it. Or anything else in particular but as you know it’s quite hard to keep your mind blank, so yeah, not much luck. I switched on the lamp beside my bed taking out my Creatures of the Moon book, I was reading something about Wendigos the last time if I could recall well. Vicious creatures, I tell you. These were the true creatures of the night. More deadly than vampires in my opinion. I sighed through the pages buying out time, as the minutes whisked away.

I squeezed my eyes shut, sweat dampening my skin. "Look at me, Rhea. You know you want to. It's me, mum. It's just me, sugar plum. Don't be afraid. I'm waiting for you. Let mum in" he said and goosebumps invaded my skin, a shiver running down my spine. Mum had told me stories of this kind of creature, but I'd never encountered one until now. It was a terrifying creature. It dug deep into your mind to find the things you loved so much, the things you craved for.

He asked politely as he looked from me to Tasha for approval. “ Why not? The more, the merrier.” Tasha replied and Arnold stepped in to walk beside us, making me the middle man. “Alright so it's time for some midnight stories from dear Arnold, anything you have for us Arnold?” Tasha asked Arnold, who smiled. He was obviously pleased with her words. “Hm… I could share my experience killing the strange creatures that live here. Okay, what is your opinion of the scariest and strangest creature?” Arnold asked as he folded his arms.

She opened it—pages parting easily now, as though the book recognized her exhaustion and offered no resistance. She flipped past the early chapters she had already memorized. Deeper. To the sections she had only skimmed before, too afraid to linger. *Control of the Undead* The script here was denser, colder. Diagrams of binding circles, sigils of domination, lists of names for the restless dead. Zombies—simple thralls of flesh, bound by will alone. Ghouls—carrion-eaters, drawn by hunger, controlled through offerings of meat and bone.

Lim, however, lying motionlessly, with his forehead bleeding and the bruises on his neck, worsen. --------- Izzat squinted his eyes in wonder. What the heck is that ugly thing? He saw a creepy old lady suspiciously hovering around Lim, his classmate. The old lady's cackling laughter made Izzat feel goosebumps all over his body. Hah... Why is this college being haunted by something sinister? Why do the things he encountered here carry very dark energy and grievances? Most of the evil spirits here are really malicious, and their malevolence level is lethal. If those being at this level attacked humans, the consequence is deadly.

Each volume of Strange short stories will have 3 medium-sized stories and about 10 short stories. To make it easier to understand and more transparent, this chapter will be like a summary for this and the following volumes. Vol.2: medium stories: The antics of Bia's crew ( ABC) Bia comments on a crew of children of criminals, in an invisible ship. In this world full of magic, demonic beasts and restrictions, they live on the run, abandoned by their parents. Not being accepted anywhere in the world they have to survive on small illegal jobs and from time to time to plunder.
