I stood dumbstruck and couldn't move. The well-worn sound of sirens echoed around. My best friend was brutalized in the worstest way. I went closer to her body and noticed her eyes were swollen. Tear streaks were on her face. There were signs of marks on her body to indicate struggle. She begged but the murderer took no pity on her.
