I can hear screams of pain and heartbreak as I watch the victims from both sides fall.

I could hear enchanting whispers from inside. “Yes,” I murmured, my lips curling into a cold smile. “You will serve me well.” i smashed the glass against the floor. Glass exploded outward, and from the ruin rose a creature of smoke and flame, twisting into the grotesque shape of a demon. Its eyes glowed crimson, its mouth curling into an evil grin. “Lucan,” it called out, bowing its head mockingly. “It has been… centuries.” I stepped closer, unflinching, letting its hideous breath that reeked of dead bodies curl around me. “I have a task for you.”

ZEPHYRINE's POV. I stood frozen, my mind reeling in shock. "Cursed!" someone shouted, and the word was taken up by others, echoing through the clearing. "She's cursed, she's cursed, she's cursed! I felt like I'd gotten the wind sucked out of me, that he had reached in and sucked everything from my insides out. The words cut deep, and a part of me couldn't help but wonder one question: Was it me? Am I cursed to have people around me die under these circumstances that are so mysterious?

There were two glass jars inside with my head and kidney both soaking in formaldehyde. "What gives that bitch the right to be your wife? She even got one of your kidneys," Carmen snarled as she caressed the two jars. "That's why I took it out. I'm returning it to you now. What I can't have, I won't let anyone else have either. My godfather will be here soon. He'll kill all of you to avenge my father!" There was a glimmer of love in Evan's eyes as he stared at my head in the jar. He reached into his pocket and gripped the scalpel inside tightly.

He let out in his usual deep voice feeling ecstatic remembering how helpless and vulnerable she looked last night. The memories of her cursing him entered his mind many times but all he did was scoff in the end. There is no God. And there is nothing like a curse in this world. Then the doctor ran in as we stepped back and Xavier growled as he was male, unmated and unmarked as far as we could tell. "I came as quickly as I could, alpha, what's going on?" he asks, looking at the unconscious girl in front of me. A gasp of fear and shock escapes him and he backs away. "You have to kick her out!! I cannot treat her! She's the Cursed Rogue!! She matches the description perfectly! Alpha, she cannot-" I snapped. "SILENCE!" Xavier roared. It was rare for our wolves to actually speak on their own like that without their human counterpart, but in this instance, I was right along with him. The doctor instantly closed his mouth and bowed his head in submission.
