It was surreal, like watching someone else succumb to their destiny. The blood that welled forth wasn't red but a deep, tar-like black. The curse. It seemed to mock every iota of ordinary life, even now. I glanced down, seeing Rykor pinning Yuri to the ground, fists raining down with primal fury. Around me, chaos erupted—voices, cries for help, the pounding of feet. But Rykor’s and Yuri’s struggle was all I could see, a clash between my past and what little future I dreamed of.

Aria's hand rested on Lyrien's chest, her fingers tracing the contours of his muscles. Their legs were intertwined, with their bodies swaying gently with each breath. The room was filled with the soft sound of their peaceful slumber, their love were radiating like a warm embrace. The clubhouse was shrouded in a thick haze of smoke, the music from the club was pulsating loudly from the back. then a figure was seen coming from the shadows, his face was obscured with a hoodie and a scarf. It was Josh, his bruised face still visible despite his attempts to conceal it.

Atrocious replied, rubbing an orb on the armrest of his chair. "Reveal? What do you have to reveal?" Draco raised an eyebrow, realizing that it must be serious if Atrocious was acting this way. Atrocious was never one to think or worry so much about anything and when he does, it meant it was something to be taken very seriously. Atrocious sighed heavily, picked up the orb, and muttered a spell. The orb became surrounded by a mist of emerald color, and an obscure figure appeared within it. "It's a curse. Your brother, the Alpha King, is cursed."

My voice cracked on the words because I was certain that he did love me. Confusion marred her perfect features. “Is he sick?” Because truly, that would be the only other problem. “He's cursed.” I blurted out. “Cursed?” She sounded disbelieving. “Yes, cursed.” I spent the next few minutes explaining Brian's curse, his age, the death of his prior mates, and the future event of my possible death.

It always happens whenever I'm scared. "Calm down, Cara, lest you reveal your powers to him," Hana whispers angrily. "If that happens we can kiss this place goodbye because we'll be thrown out as bad bloods." Bad bloods. Otherwise known as the Ruined, or the Cursed. The spoilt apples.

He grinned. “The girl is not here … now.” Hugo half turned his back to Aryadi and Burhan. The grin on his lips didn't disappear either. “But I'm not sure about a few seconds ago.” Burhan tried to argue and yell, but Hugo interrupted him loudly as if he already knew what Burhan was going to say. “You haven't forgotten who I am, have you? The reason why I'm called the Cursed?” Hugo hissed like a snake in the middle of a savanna whose calm was disturbed. But then his tone became jolting again. “I can smell them!”

“Are you ok?” “The dark stench of death… the dense red mist of blood…” he said, still hugging me. I could feel his hands tremble on my back. “Those islands are cursed… an ancient curse… it has the odour of doom…” I felt a cold shiver crawl up my spine, hearing his words. “What?” I parted from him. Hikari’s face was pale and his eyes lifeless. “What’s wrong with you, Hikari?” I held his shoulders. “Did you go to the islands of ultimas?”
