Rouges and Rebound
When we are close enough Gray takes the man’s hand in a firm shake.
“Ben stuck his neck out for you again, when are you going to let him go?” the man asks with a smirk. He turns to me, “Is she the girlfriend he was talking about?”
Gray grimaces, “You guys had quite the chat.”
The man shrugs, “You are an interesting topic, what can I say.”
Gray makes a face, “Thank you, I owe you one.”
“You owe me millions, but who is counting,” the man says before turning to me, “Nice to meet you, I’m Harold Gray’s former colleague.”
