Caroline’s POV: "Can all the maids and jacks, please leave us alone?" My father, the king, asked everyone in the room. I knew it could not be good. My father almost never wanted to be alone with us. There was always some witness to his actions. All the people who were not of our family made a small bow and left through the several doors that gave access to the dining room. When all the noise of movement was over, my father turned to me, took a deep breath, and decided to start the conversation:

From the panel on the side, Niquel swiped over a card. The door opened with a mechanical whirr, signaling the captive that he had a visitor. There was but one chair in the room, and the cameras on all four corners were off. A tattoo of a dragon breathing fire from its open mouth decorated the captive’s entire upper half, leaving only patches of skin uninked. He huffed, mocking the visitor. “I suppose I must be honored to be graced by the presence of the Dragon King,” he greeted.

" Lady Alice was behaving like a mad woman , She was holding a dagger in her hand , The maids were running helter scatter , The guards was trying to hold her down but they couldn't . " I want to see the king now are else I will kill everyone in this castle now " Edward and I got to the last floor , That was when I noticed the he was half naked he only had his trouser on ,I got a clear view of his back he had a large tattoo of two wings on his back ,I quickly averted my eyes from his back because I was already having stupid thoughts,I look at his hand he was holding his sword tightly ready to strike " What going on here"

Caught off guard, he was dragged from his horse and struck unconscious before his guards could react. When Alexei came to, he found himself imprisoned in a crude hut. His aching head was clouded and limbs bound, but he made out hushed angry voices from his rough captors outside. "We hold the king's life in our hands now. If ransom's not paid, we slit his throat." Alexei's blood ran cold. He was a hostage, trapped by opportunistic cutthroats. Desperately he worked at the knots binding his wrists, but they held fast. He could not break free alone.

KADE POV I watch the smoke curl from Brynn’s lips, disappearing into the night air. God, I’ve never wanted to be a cigarette so badly—just to feel those lips wrapped around me. Something in her whispered words makes me shift—a flicker of genuine concern breaking through my professional veneer. “One cage for another. Yeah.” I lean against the railing, letting a brief understanding pass between us. “The difference,” I murmur, “is that Vex’s cage has golden bars. Comfortable prison.”

I force myself to scan the faces around the table, memorising the monsters I am trapped with. There is Gage, the Red King. He sits perfectly still, his eyes tracking every twitch of my fingers. You cannot lie to him. He spots a fabrication from a mile away. I tried it once, and he nearly tore my throat out for the insult. Beside him is Kaycen, the Black King. He is a weapon in a tailored suit. His line is famous for combat, moving so fast they react to a challenger's strike before the blow is even thrown. Then there is Isac, the Blue King. He is lounging back, a sickening smirk playing on his lips. The rumours say his kind can hold their breath underwater for hours, but right now, he just lo

Calix had caged him inside it and sealed the door with magical powers so that he can’t come out of it. The only sound which could be heard from that creepy dungeon was the devil’s ear-piercing screams and blood-curdling growls. All the guards were so frightened that they immediately evacuated that place as they couldn’t bear to hear his bone-chilling screams. Zachary was left all alone inside that dungeon, caged and abandoned. Calix was feeling too sad for him as the Demon Prince who is the future King of Hell was locked up inside a prison-like an animal and was screaming like a lunatic.

“Are they in trouble? In danger?” “Maybe.” “So…” Honey shook her head. “Why are we just sitting here and holding you captive?” King threw himself into a chair. “Long fucking story.” “Well.” Jack ran his hands through his dark hair. “You gonna tell us or what?” And with a huge sigh, King did; he told them every single thing except Naomi’s name. When he finished talking, the ten other men and women in the room nodded silently, then went off to make coffee and organize a rotating sleep schedule. King had bedrooms set up over the garage, and they used the space often when they were on assignment. And this assignment was unusual, to be sure, but it was obviously a damn important one.

"My king" Hugo bowed to King Cassian von Vendela as he made his way into the dark dungeon. "Hugo where are the captured Creatures??" King Cassian asked immediately Hugo bowed to him. Hugo pushed open the big metal door for the king to enter the dungeon, he hastily grabbed a wood and pushed the edge of the wood into the fire that was hung in the wall in an iron-like attic bowl that was hung up in the walls by the metal handles. There were such fire bowls around the narrow road that led to various prison cells.

They gently walked close to the gate but before they could comprehend what was happening a cage covered them all up taking them high in the air. "Hahaha," the king laughed coming out of a hidden shade. "I expected you all to be smart, but you all are just dumb." All of them tried using their powers but nothing worked. "Quit trying, that cage is protected with dark magic that won't allow you all to do anything" the king of the dark uttered seeing what they were doing. "Why are you doing this father?" "Will you kill me your daughter too?" "You seized being my daughter the day you helped this mortal and his lover escape."
