Damsel Opposite Novels & Stories

The grand ballroom shimmered with opulence, its crystal chandeliers casting warm light on the sea of glamorous attendees. It was the charity event of the season, a perfect facade for the elite to mask their scandals and betrayals with smiles and champagne. Amelia stood near the entrance, her fiery red gown flowing like liquid passion as her sharp eyes scanned the crowd. She was a tempest in disguise, ready to unleash her storm.

Unfortunately for her, her eyes are her downfall. ~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~ I face her, waiting. Her hair is jet black, and Dom wasn't lying. Her eyes are mesmerising, something I have never seen. One is two colours. He wasn't lying when he said she was a pretty little thing. "What's your name, girl?" Her head rises, and she glares, infuriated at me. "I apologise, my lady. What is your name?" Her eyes widen as she bites against her lip. I watch her neck roll as she slowly swallows.

"Since the alliance is set, stop playing hard to get." I glanced down at the ring. It was crudely made, with a flicker of weak magic. "As my bride-in-name-only, try not to embarrass me." "Delia is the only partner you truly recognize, isn't she?" I looked up at him. Damon smiled, smug. "Of course. She is pure and innocent. Not like some people, always scheming." He gave me a warning look. "You dare to harm her, and I will make you pay."

Dama could read his lips and she knew she was done for - she lost on both sides - becoming the bride to Prince Henkel and a mate to Prince Danks. The scent, the feeling, the jealousy, the anger, the bond pull and most especially, her scent again - it was all because she was the one, she had been his mate under the bride's veil all along.

Some witches surrendered and asked for an apology from their real Queen, Sabrina. King Warrick already recovered and glaring daggers at me. “Don’t give me that look, a descendant of King Helios.” he looked at me in shock. “What?” he blurted out, and I smirked. “Do you know who defeated him in the previous great war?” I said cockily. He clenched his jaw, and I looked at him blankly, “Remember this, my name is... Damona, the one who defeated King Helios” as my name rolled out my tongue, he gasped while staring at me wide-eyed.

He sighed in pity, for he knows that the witch doesn’t want this to happen, too. She is a ‘goddess’ – an omnipotent, powerful being in their eyes. Yet now look at how she has fallen. How she became weak. How she became… so pitiful. Damiel couldn’t even imagine what he would have done if it happened to him. And he was glad that this didn’t happen to him.

Caspian replied bitterly, “I’ve told you; I’ve tried countless times. None of it worked. There’s no one like Cassandra.” Damian smirked slightly, his expression one of someone who’d just stumbled upon an intriguing idea. He grabbed a glass of wine from the table and took a slow sip. “In that case, I have a solution. Find a woman who looks like Cassandra. Someone with her face, her way of speaking, her smile, her demeanor. That way, you can satisfy your curiosity without ruining your family. I can even help you find her.” Caspian stared at Damian, his gaze sharp and filled with disbelief. “Damian, don’t tell me you’re still playing around with women. You do realize your wife is seriously ill,

Heddis yelled, still tackling Liam. Nelly was amazing, she used magic like never before. She was a powerful witch but for some reason didn't like to show that part of her. While Damien and Leon were so angry as to be rendered speechless, a woman with hair similar to Layla was decorated like a doll, adornments that even the imperial princess of Avesta had to think twice before wearing, embellished her body. She was dressed so extravagantly so to appear more beautiful than Layla yet she did not know what to compare when it was as such.
