Dancer Novels & Stories

This is my wedding afterall. Their dance steps are so fluid as if they practiced their choreography over a thousand times before my wedding. Flames dance around their feet, sometimes licking up their arms but never burning them. The spectacle is breathtaking. I feel like I am watching swimming bodies and they dance so beautifully. At some point, a few of them begin exhibiting acrobatic performances. They leap, spin, and tumble in different styles. “They are The Aekái. Dancers trained from birth," Azraelyrs says, noticing my attention that is completely drawn to them. His voice is so close to my ear and I turn slightly.

Boro and Mika stood in the sand circle as the two finalists. The animosity between the two was so thick in the air it was almost palpable. Boro stood in the ready form, Crane In The Water, standing perfectly balanced on one leg, his sword held out before him. Mika stood in a form that Boro didn't recognize. Boro prided himself on knowing all the forms of classical, and modern, sword art, the fact he didn't recognize this one was puzzling.

Their people, activities, and performances are documented beautifully on their profile. I stop scrolling when I find a picture of a gorgeous brunette with blue eyes dancing. The picture speaks a lot of things. Sensuality, vulnerability, confidence. How can there be so much beauty in one frame? She must be a real pro to be able to project that in front of people. I remember her. It’s impossible to forget such a bombshell. “She’s Gia , one of our best dancers,” the sophomore once told me.

cried the dancer as she felt pain on her ankle. “Stop!” shouted the director and everyone’s attention went to the squirming body of the dancer who was holding her ankle. The man stopped singing and placed a hand over his mouth before rushing to the aid of the dancer.

There were no people who were superficial with art and satirized with beauty, just the brunette with her magical dance moves. "It's really... too beautiful. Unfortunately, it's not real. Anyway, thanks for the painting. I'll cherish it." The dancer smiled softly and set the painting aside. She picked up the coins that fell on the carpet and put them in a small bag, then she called her saxophone friend to leave. "May I know your name, ma'am?" The painter hurriedly called her back. "Diana. My name is Diana Sheryl. How about you?" "Marco. Marco Gilberth."

There is no point in dwelling on the past. Going through the auditions for the lead dancer spot is way more taxing than I anticipated. It's so much work. Each dancer who wants the position has to display a two-minute group dance, a duet, and a solo dance which will be choreographed by the dancer. These dances will showcase the dancer's cooperation, talent, and plan-making. I also have to record them and critique them on things that I might've missed.

Catherine knew that Tristan can dance but he won’t budge. Catherine changed her dancing style into krump to provoke Tristan and she saw him smirk. Tristan started dancing his style was that of flowy and lock type of dance. The ballet dancers eased up and started having fun. Lyra was at the back as she had only done ballet and contemporary. The music changed into “Turn down for what” and almost everyone cheered.

After spending the whole day with Zander, going from place to place, getting her hair done, nails done, and finding the perfect outfit, Claudia was finally ready for her date with Sean. She was wearing a cold shoulder black dress that hugged her curves and stopped about an inch from her knees. Her hair was straightened and left to flow down her back like a copper waterfall and her nails were painted crimson and sharpened as well as pointed to look like claws. As Claudia walked into the Dragon's Den, All the men stopped and stared but her eyes were only focused on Sean who couldn't take his eyes off her even when the waitress was obviously trying to get his attention.

The dancer everyone awaits to get a glimpse of. She had lived her whole life in a brothel. She was allowed to study till twelfth grade. After that, she was made to work as a maid at the brothel. The dance teacher there taught her dancing and with time she was known in the brothel as the most graceful dancer. The first time she performed, she already snatched the hearts of many men.

She clung to the wall while the boss stood up from the bed majestically, his eyes dainted at Elena who was already in tears. The boss tapped on his phone, and suddenly, hip hop music began to fill the room. Elena’s eyes widened in surprise as she tried to comprehend what was happening. “Dance, Puppy, Dance,” the boss smirked, a command laced with authority. “Dance?” Elena whispered, her hands still instinctively clasped around herself, taken aback by the unexpected demand. “Yes. You embarrassed me by refusing to dance with me at the club. Now, you’ll dance until your legs can't carry you anymore,” the boss declared, stepping closer to Elena. She recoiled against the wall, as if attempting to
