Her Deadly Revenge

Her Deadly Revenge

From the dread in his voice, I could tell Derek's life was full of darkness. "Is Jim sober?" Thomas clenched his jaw as his eyes flickered warily to Derek. Derek licked the broken skin on his lip. "He was sober when we left, but he probably isn't anymore. With Mom and Grant sick, Dad is probably blitzed by now. I said we'd be back in one hour, but it's been over two. I'm sure he's just waiting to kill me." Derek's shaky hands rubbed together. "Any other time I wouldn't care, you know, but not at Casey's house in front of respectable people. I can't do it, man. I don't want to lose it. Please?"

This book was great, no at all why I expected. The blurb feels like it’s for the wrong book and every tag is incorrect. But really really really great book! Can’t wait for read for of the authors writing!!!
Sabrina
The blurb and the title don’t match this book. The story is about a zombie apocalypse, a bunch of strangers that meet and their relationships that develop throughout. I thought the ending was good, but I would love to read a sequel for some much needed closure. Overall, it’s a really good book.

The Darkness Dragon Heir

The Darkness Dragon Heir

Both wanted power that wouldn't be handed to them very soon. He spoke of Livna they way he always does. She misses me dearly, wish I would visit her more. An endless tirade of why I never went to stay in Lux with her. My visits to them were few and far in between. Livna would never stop bombarding me about why I should be proclaimed her heir instead. How I should get out of the darkness and join the light. What she didn't know, what no one knew, was that my darkness ran further than me being Caligo. It ran to the very roots of my soul. Sometimes it plagued me to no end to know that I was capable of more than everyone thought. Cold-blooded murder being one of the many things. At Lux, people w

Dark Journal

Dark Journal

"There is a distinct difference. The people who dragged you into that damp cellar near the old laundromat district, the zealots who think they can force an ancient bloodline to wake up with candles and acoustic chanting, they were watching you. They wanted to use you as a skeleton key for a door they don't even have the coordinates to understand. We, on the other hand, simply recognize the frequency under your skin." Caelith didn't move. She barely even breathed. He knew about the cellar. He knew about the chanting. "We are on your side, Caelith," Davan continued, his restless fingers tapping a quiet rhythm against his side. "The world is becoming incredibly crowded around you right now. You

Fated to the Shadow Alpha

Fated to the Shadow Alpha

Two figures emerged from the darkness, Cole with his storm cloud eyes and predator’s grace, and a woman Natasha had not seen before. She was older, with gnarled hands stained dark from years of working with herbs and salves. A healer, or something close to it. The leather satchel slung across her bony shoulder smelled of bitter roots and something chemical that made Natasha’s stomach lurch with instinctive dread. “She’s burning up,” the healer said, her voice flat and disinterested, as if discussing livestock. “The wound’s gone septic. Another day, maybe two, and she won’t be good for anything except the crows.”

An Affair With The Triplets

An Affair With The Triplets

He was wearing only sweatpants, and his skin looked pale, almost grayish, as if all the light had been drained from him. Aiden and Brayden leaned against the door, heartbroken to see their brother caged. “Jayden...” Brayden whispered, trying to approach, but Luna Kate stopped him. "Hush, sons. He is not with us yet. The entity is gone, but the residue is strong," whispered Luna Kate. The door opened just enough for the three of us and the healer to enter. Beta David and two guards remained at the entrance. The healer was a thin, elderly man named Darius, who seemed to know more about spirits and runes than medicine. Darius wore an embroidered cloak and carried a twisted wooden staff.

I sent mine right back to her. “Let me set your mind at ease,” Hades said with a smile on his face. “You did die because there was no possible way for your mortal body to handle all of that Vessel power. However, it is only temporary. I asked our son to explain things to your mate so that he did not end up going on a grief-induced rampage. I have a special task for you that I hope you will want to help with. The most twisted souls end up here and are tortured for eternity. Enjoyed the story a lot. I loved the series before it, and this great follow-up. I will say the only drawback was that there was a bit too much sex in this book as compared to the previous two in the series. Still very good though.

fur. In the center of the bazaar sat a man hunched over a pile of flickering holographic projectors. He looked ancient, his skin a patchwork of scars and tech implants. But when he glanced up, Elara felt a surge of raw energy. His eyes were the deep golden color of a True Alpha. "The Healer and the Prince," the Archivist wheezed, his voice like rustling leaves. "You've come a long way to find a ghost." The Price of the Key
