Who the fuck did he think he was? The Pit was a notorious underground fight club hidden in an old warehouse by the docks. It was the kind of place where snobby rich assholes came to watch poor bastards beat each other bloody for their entertainment. I parked my bike a block away and walked in through the side entrance, nodding at the bouncer who recognized me. I had visited this place once or twice during my younger days. The air inside was thick with sweat, blood, and cheap beer. The crowd roared as two fighters went at it in the makeshift ring in the center. I pushed through the bodies until I found a good vantage point near the back.
