His breath was fire against my skin. Damian’s body pinned me to the mattress, his grip bruising, his movements relentless. His scent clouded my senses, flooding my lungs, drowning me in him. His lips crushed mine, a kiss that wasn’t gentle. It was raw, possessive, claiming every gasp, every moan, every last shred of resistance I had left. I arched beneath him, my fingers digging into the taut muscles of his back, nails raking against his burning skin. His body was a furnace, hard and unyielding, pressing me deeper into the silk sheets.

My fingers clutch his shirt, needing to hold onto something as my knees threaten to betray me. "You shouldn't," I whisper, breathless, even though I'm the one closing the gap this time. The man was a billionaire and could pay for anything he wanted as long as he could get it. I moved close to the books and tried reading some of their titles. They were mostly novels, and a little gasp fled my lips when I saw my favorite dark romance series, sitting on the shelf. The Ryan Rule by Sadie Kincaid. I loved the four books of that series so much, and although I’ve read them all, I wouldn’t mind re-reading them again. I didn’t have the money to purchase the books so I borrowed from a schoolmate. But now they were here.

She sucked them slowly, tasting herself, never breaking eye contact. Watching her like that made my body burn again. She looked completely lost in the moment, flushed, messy, and beautiful. Her hair was spread out on the pillow, her skin glowing with sweat. I leaned down and kissed her deeply, still tasting her on her lips. My hand moved over her body slowly now, no rush, just feeling her soft skin under my fingers. She wrapped her arms around me, pulling me close, her breathing finally starting to calm. We lay there for a moment, our bodies still warm, still connected in the afterglow. She smiled slightly. I brushed my hand down her side, feeling the softness of her skin.
