Damien's smith had carved it from a Bloodmoon stone. The symbol etched into it spelled our names in Lupine. It was one of a kind—a sacred token of an alpha king's love.

She began walking away slowly, then paused and looked over her shoulders, “Destiny little one, can't be evaded” And with that she went into the inner chambers. I stood at the window side as if glued there. What the hell just happened? And above all what did she mean? She didn't even clarify me, neither did she tell me the source of the poison. “Perfect, she only made me more confused” I said to myself as I began to leave the clinic but something drew me back; his feet. It was outside a bit, I lifted it up and saw the emblem there, a phoenix and a lycan. They were side by side, almost conjoined.

It smelled faintly of oil and river mud, someone had deliberately marked him. “A planted emblem,” Korra shouted. “They want us to think this was a routine raid, they want to point a finger at rogues.”
