The Banished Luna: She Was Meant To Rule
“We don’t know what will happen.”
“I’m sure, Mama,” Luna says. “I can feel it. This will break the connection.”
She touches the crystal and light explodes through the room.
When it fades, Luna is on the ground, breathing hard, her eyes no longer shifting colors but settling into a steady, normal brown.
“It’s gone,” she gasps. “The pull, the compulsion, the voice telling me what I’ll have to do. It’s all gone.”
Her mother is crying, holding her daughter like she might disappear.
