DAWN’S POV I was seated in the throne room, watching as the elders and gammas of my pack whispered among themselves, unable to believe that their alpha was dead. I assured them that he was dead, but they demanded to see his body. "I want to see his body! How can we believe he is dead without seeing his body?" one of the gammas said, with a tinge of desperation in his voice. "You don't need to see his body. Trust me, he's dead," I replied with a cold tone, trying to hide my smile.

It looked like my death could be so easily brushed off in the face of Henry's nonchalant apology. "It was me. I was the one who killed him. I got him to do the transplant. It was me…" Henry hugged her tightly. "It's fine, Christine. It's fine. You didn't know this would happen. This is fate. If you really feel bad, we can bring his urn back and commemorate him." "Yes. I'm going to get his ashes back. I'm his wife," Christine muttered to herself. I found it comical. The person who caused my death was calling herself my wife. How dare she still try to get my ashes back?

"If we can't have the end, we’ll make the middle last forever. I’ll keep you alive, Elowen. And I’ll make you want me so badly that Silas’s hell will feel like a mercy." ​He stood up and reached out a hand to help me. He didn't touch my palm; he offered his forearm, a safe, guarded contact. ​"Welcome to the Dead Zone," he said, the shadows at his feet coiling like loyal hounds. " One is over. Now, we learn how to live without breaking." ​In the distance, the bells of a modern cathedral began to ring, echoing through the ruins. Silas was coming. But for the first time in ten lives, the "Sword" and the "Shield" were standing together.

His voice was low, deep, and dangerously calm when he finally spoke. “If you know what’s good for you,” he said, his British accent thick and sharp, “you’ll shut the fuck up and stop fighting me.”

The room froze. "They're both dead." Total silence.

His gaze was locked onto the body before him. Hazel lay there — unmoving, pale, lifeless. Her skin had lost its warmth, her chest no longer rose with breath. The woman who once looked at him with fire in her eyes now lay still, silent, as though the world had drained her of everything she was. Kevin watched him for a moment longer, then turned away. He motioned for his men to leave, and one by one they filed out of the morgue, their footsteps fading into the distance. Max lingered at the doorway.

“She’s dead. His mother is actually dead, she killed her herself before we could go for her. I heard as she shot herself. Delaney is no more.” “Wow she’s really dead?” Davis nodded in affirmation. “This is more reason to why we should take Theodore in with us.” “Fine. I will think about it, you should go to sleep.”

Sean placed the phone in his ear “Have you done it?” “Yes, she is dead” Sean cut the call and smiled “Finally”

I said and fake a cry. "I am dead now woman. Do not cry, I killed the girl, and then i am going to kill myself because of the grief of cheating on you, take care of the kids, tell them their dad loved them, and give my treasure to sophia-our daughter, she loves them, take care, my love, for I lay here, dead ,but in peace. " he says and drops dead . He opens one eye to see when I don't give any reaction . We both look at each other then burst out laughing again.
