Dean Koontz Quicksilver Series Novels & Stories

Saving Erin Book 1 of the Swift security series. Chapter one. Jake Swift's point of view The names jake Swift I go by the nickname of Swifty for obvious reasons and also as I like to get the job done ASAP. After leaving the army two years ago, I set up swift security; most of my employees are ex-army there, not just my friends. They are my family.

My grandmother's handwriting was tight and urgent, written during one of her most intense visions. *The darkness awakens. It has slept for a century, gorged on stolen light, but now it stirs again. It will hunt the children of the moon. It will find them one by one and drain them until nothing remains but empty shells. Two wolves stand between salvation and destruction. Two Alphas, bound to the fate of the Lunar. One will fall. One will rise. And the wolf who carries moonlight in her veins will decide which fate comes to pass.* "This is about me," Sera said quietly.

Something fundamental. Power exploded outward from my core. Silver light burst from my body like a detonation, so bright it turned night into day. The rogues yelped and scrambled backward, shielding their eyes. The light burned, even though I couldn't feel it, like standing at the center of a star. "What the hell?" the leader started. The light pulsed again, stronger this time, and I felt the curse weakening. Not breaking, not yet, but cracking. Like ice fracturing under pressure.

Akshara stammered hardly to find words in her throat; her hands were wiping her joy tears and she thought to herself, “Am I in the time loop or time travel? What the hell is happening again?” Did Akshara successfully execute her plans in the witch palace to defeat the malicious black witch, Nicoria Blackfire and her troops of raven wizards led by Igikran? Whether our lovelorn hero Karen deserves a second chance to show his love to the girl he had been waiting since childhood to confess? Did Dev the hybrid dragon wizard reconciled with his bonded mate Akshara with his firm chance of redemption?” Let us meet up in ICICLES OF GOLDEN BLOOD II.
