Alpha’s thirst for Ember
“We thought you were dead.”
“There’s no time,” Ragnar snapped. “Open the gates.”
The second guard nodded to the first, and the metal creaked as they opened the way.
Ragnar didn’t wait. He ran past them, heading straight for the pack house.
He climbed the stairs in leaps, following Thorne’s scent all the way up. When he reached the rooftop, he didn’t pause, he just shoved the door open, urgency clouding his manners.
Then he froze.
Ember was in Thorne’s arms, the two of them locked in a deep, heated kiss. She jolted the second she saw him, jumping back like she’d been caught doing something wrong. Thorne turned, his jaw tight, his glare seering into Ragnar.
