Didn't See That Coming Book Novels & Stories

I looked up after sending the message. The comments in the air were blurring, like static on a television with a bad signal. "What's happening? I can't see…" "The story fell apart, so we're being forcefully removed!" "No! I haven't finished reading yet—" The last comment disappeared before it finished scrolling across my vision. All the lights in the room were switched on. I had no choice but to squint against the blinding glare. The music on the huge screen stopped and returned to the karaoke's usual interface.

Even though the book is mainly about bonds, it didn't help much. It only mentioned two situations of cases like mine happening and calling it 'Wildthread bond' That's not enough for me to go by or even understand anything. Apparently, the bond wasn't researched into because it wasn’t easily detected. I snapped the book shut in annoyance and returned it. Coming to this place was a big waste of time. I stomped down the stairs, still pretty much annoyed. There was no library attendant in sight for me to ask questions from. I went around the library to a branch of the healer's tent.
