I made my way between the cars towards the back of the building. “You know this is a special night, don’t you?” Wisps of fake fog curled and puffed off the stage as he strutted back and forth. “Halloween. All Hallows? I can tell ya it means a lot more than just stuffing fun-size Snickers in your face. Tonight’s the night the world of the dead overlaps with the world of the living. That means if you’re ever going to see a ghost, tonight’s your night!

Gabby froze. The front door opened, and Gabby's neighbor of nineteen years, Mike Willison stood before him, holding a plastic mixing bowl full of chocolate candy bars. Gabby made her move. "Trick or Treat!" Gabby shouted, opening her cloak. Mike Willison's eyes went wide at the sight of the naked female body before him. His jaw dropped, and he found himself at a loss of what to say. Gabby giggled, and shut her cloak. "Happy Halloween!" Gabby shouted, and ran off down the driveway back to the street.

Her eyes danced around and she was about to give up when her sight caught a pink file on the ground and her eyes twitched She bent and picked up the file " Halloween planner debut." She read the words that was written on the files and frowned. " Halloween? Isn't this the same file as the one Mr. Damon had with him earlier?" She mumbled and opened the file. She glanced through it and realized it was Harvey's copy!

So the kids pretty much had full reign of the mansion for the sole purpose of getting their spooks in order for Halloween. Kendra had put candles around the living room and had lit them. And Allison had provided them with snacks, from everything from kettle corn, to lots of candies and cookies and as much soda as they could drink. Damien had gotten hold of an Ouija board, having borrowed it from a friend. And Noel provided them each with a stuffed animal, in case any of them got scared while contacting ghosts. Damien clearly was feeling some anticipation over this seance. They were contacting the ghost of his mother after all.

It was the kind of Christmas Eve I had always loved; cozy, familiar, safe. "Werewolves." My cousin whispered dramatically, leaning forward so the younger kids hung on her every word. "They hunt in the night, their eyes glowing red, their claws sharp enough to tear through bone. And when they catch you..." She paused, lowering her voice to a chilling whisper. "...They drink your blood and turn you into werewolves!!" The children shrieked in unison, clutching each other, their wide eyes reflecting the firelight. My cousin burst into laughter, clearly pleased with herself.

She quickly pulled out the book from the shelf. Under its title was a written quotation that said, "A book for witches." Even though she knew herself that she didn't have witch blood, she still decided to give it a try. Nowo quickly went down so that she could start reading it.

Claude found a few books on witchcraft that she had never seen before, and Nuella showed her a few books on magic that she had acquired over the years. As they were about to leave the room, Claude noticed a small book sitting on a shelf all by itself. It was old and worn, with a black cover that had been embossed with a strange symbol. "What's this?" Claude asked, picking up the book. Nuella's eyes widened as she saw the symbol. "That's the Necronomicon," she said, her voice low. "You shouldn't touch that." Claude looked at the book and felt a shiver run down her spine. She had heard of the Necronomicon before, and she knew that it was said to contain dark and dangerous magic.

It was too quiet, eerily quiet. Dolores decided to walk forward, after wandering for a while, she finally saw...a book. As soon as Dolores got close to the unusual book in the middle of the white room, she was sucked in. As if watching a document, Dolores felt her eyes going through a novel called, "Saving my moonlight in the haunted mansion". Sadie Laurent was going through her late grandfather's stuff when she found an old key. Sadie being a curious cat spirit, kept pestering her parents to know where this place was, but her parents kept avoiding answering. At last, Sadie pestered the old granny of her house.

Tears are at the brink of my eyes as I clutch onto his arms. “ You are not telling me what happened. Relax Scarlet, and tell me everything.” he says, caressing his fingers around my face. “ The book..” I begin as I still can’t imagine it or was I in a trance or something? “ What?” he frowns, trying to understand what I’m about to say. “ Noah, the book Michelle usually spoke about.. the book about a werewolf falling in love with a sorcerer. I heard the book speaking.” I gulp down as my voice becomes clearer.

The moral of the story was for you to always be aware of your surroundings but on Halloween nights, or certain nights when teens just felt like being pricks, people would spray paint that symbol on cars and walls. She asks me if I am going to tell Welch or Eliza about this, but I tell her no. We don't know if it actually has to do with anything and even if it does, it's just a coincidence. It's not the most popular book but it's a children's' book through and through. Anyone could have easily read that to Peter, or he could have picked it up at a library. Either way, I'm more than ready to have him back home, safe and sound.
