The moon goddess chose wrong: twice

The moon goddess chose wrong: twice

Too much. I had maybe twenty dollars left from the cash I had grabbed before leaving Silverfang enough for two meals if I was careful. My stomach growled so loudly that a woman walking her dog shot me a strange look. I ducked my head and kept moving until the warm, greasy glow of a classic diner caught my eye. “All-Night Diner” flashed in neon above the door and the smell of burgers and coffee drifted out like a promise.

SECRETS OF A BILLIONAIRE HUSBAND

SECRETS OF A BILLIONAIRE HUSBAND

“There’s a diner ahead.” About ten minutes later, they pulled over beside an old roadside diner with faded signs and warm lights glowing through the windows. Rivera loved it immediately. A waitress welcomed them before leading them toward a booth near the window. Rivera slid into her seat comfortably while Luke sat across from her. Reagan took the seat beside her this time, his shoulder brushing hers briefly as he settled down. “So,” Luke said as he opened the menu, “what’s everybody getting?” “Pancakes,” Rivera answered almost instantly.

A Life Off Script

A Life Off Script

Mara, is Lucas helping you get revenge? I did not reply. But that night, Preston asked to meet. He said he had something important to tell me. He chose the diner we used to go to. I hesitated, then went. The diner was still there. The owner hadn't changed, and even the menu was the same. Preston sat in the seat where we used to sit, with two bowls of beef stew in front of him. "You're here." He stood and pulled out the chair for me. "What is it?"

Revenge On The Lycan King-My Babies’ Daddy

She mumbled the dragged the to the diner, immmediately we entered , there was a ding sound that signaled that they had customers visiting the diner and I took my time to look around, the diner was covered i chocolate and beige color giving it a homie vibe, even the tables are chairs were wooden and they were paired in clusters of three, four and two ranging on the kind of table you want to seat on, we sat down on the table with two chairs facing each other directly. “Hello, ma’am. What do you want to order for? Here’s the menu you can check out all the dishes we have.” A flowery voice sounded and I whipped my head towards the source of the voice wanting to confirm and hoping it wasn’t the fa

Dice's little runaway

Dice's little runaway

Now we were headed to the diner for a quick lunch before we headed to the department store. John followed me since I had my car and I didn't want to leave it there. Once we got to the diner we sat in a booth and waited for the waitress to come over. She was bubbly little thing named Judy and always had a smile on her face when we came in. She couldn't be much older than me and as much as I tried to befriend her she was more closed off than I was. We both ordered a coffee and the big plate special which was every breakfast food I loved on one plate. You got two eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, biscuits with gravy and pancakes all for $15 I loved small town diners. It didn't take long for ou

A beautiful mistake

A beautiful mistake

Some were of Marcus' patrolling the city with his usual smug face and a shiny jeep that spelled out LA police and the others were him eating alone a burger in a diner. "What am I looking at exactly? A sad man wasting away by eating greasy burgers?" With a huff, Jaime had his finger on the diner's logo, McHenry's Diner. "Sir it's the same one" Suddenly his heart beat rapidly, the same same diner had appeared in his life after years of trying to bury what had happened eight years ago. "There are so many diners in LA. They probably have the same names, Jaime"

The Billionaire's First Glance

The Billionaire's First Glance

“It’s a casual place, so there's no need to change into your suit.” “What are we waiting for?” she asked from the couch. I grab one of my jean jackets from the closet for her and then put on my leather jacket. I grab my wallet, and we head to the door. Amelie POV This diner is the cutest thing I’ve ever seen. It’s in the old 50s style, with melamine counters and a red vinyl-covered barstool. The traditional booths are also covered in the same red vinyl. It looks busy, though; there is a lineup. Nathan walks into the diner and flags down an older gentleman.

The Billionaire's Twins Play Matchmaker

The Billionaire's Twins Play Matchmaker

“Can I have a refill?” a customer held up a cup. “Absolutely,” she said retrieving the carafe from its hot plate and filled the cup without missing a beat. Mike eyed the simple, two-sided menu finding many traditional fair foods and fast food options: mostly fried or grilled. There was nothing trendy but this kind of menu was also rather nostalgic. In fact the diner itself with the interior décor harkening to the fifties and would be quite familiar to anyone who had lived it. He hadn’t intended to order anything but now a short stack sounded good.

so far I'm enjoying this book very much. it has caught my attention. I'm hoping it will keep my attention. I've found that a lot of these ongoing books stop keeping my attention after while because they don't keep the story moving along they keep it like a daily journal and loose people's attention

TWISTED STUBBORN LOVE

TWISTED STUBBORN LOVE

His body was so cut he looked like he subsisted on lean protein and green shakes. Disbelief shadowed his eyes before he let out a short laugh. “No, Sunshine, I’m not one of those health nuts.” Ten minutes later, we pulled up in front of a diner that looked like it served nothing but food that was bad for you. Perfect. Heads swiveled in our direction when we walked into the diner. I couldn’t blame them. It isn’t every day you see a duo in black-tie enter a roadside diner. I’d tried my best to fix myself so I was presentable before I left the car, but there’s only so much a girl can do without her makeup bag.

BROKEN:A BULLY ROMANCE

BROKEN:A BULLY ROMANCE

After I got to dinner, I changed into my work clothes, and began my shift. Everything was normal until Rider Blackwell walked into the diner. He was the leader of the Eastwood gang and the owner of a club called 'the blue gypsy,' where Sophia works as a manager/waitress, so I see him once in a while when I go see Sophia after she finishes working at the club.
