Taylor nodded quickly and went to pass the message. When he returned, he was just in time to see Frederic spring up from his bed like a zombie. Then, Frederic spat out a black heap of unidentified substance. Faye quickly inserted two more needles into his back. Frederic shuddered, lowered his head again, and vomited two more times. In his last vomit, he spat out an entirely black parasite, slightly bigger than a thumb. The scariest part was the parasite was still wriggling after leaving Frederic's body.

She screamed in pain as her now fragile body connected with the hardwood flooring, her shoulder dislocating, sending red-hot agony pulsing through her body. "I gave you my trust." Venom dripped from Freya's lips as she picked the discarded cell phone off the floor, pulverising it into dust with her hand. Fury suffused her, her feral side dominating. She loomed over the fallen woman, talons out, fangs bared, black pitiless eyes boring into her curled up body.

Lily pinched my arm, dragging me out of my thoughts. “Yes, listen to the little girl. I’m trying to rest over here,” Frey responded in my head. I gave out a warm smile, patting her head and noticing she had grown taller in the span of a few days. Maybe it was due to the weight she lost. “I promise you that I’m thinking about good things here,” I lied and it made Frey groan. I could almost see her glare at me. “Nothing a good scoop of ice cream won’t fix though,” Lily shrugged, obviously not believing that I was deep in good thoughts.

I inform her. "We heard. Freddie likes you," she smiles. "He said you're a little spooky but you seem less uptight than your brother," "He said that? He didn't say that," Freddie doesn't strike me as someone who would be disrespectful not even as a joke. "He was super polite and iffy when we met. He was like what the fuck is this thing. It was funny," "He did say that. He and Jayk are tight. Ottis was a hater. It doesn't surprise me that he was dealing with the pack. He was probably selling him information too," she admits.

KYLIE'S POV “What are you doing man, let her go” Freddy yelled. And freed me from the choking grasp of the raged Alpha Arnold. I began to cough uncontrollably. Freddy immediately poured me a glass of water from the jar standing on the little dining table I didn't hesitate to take it and gulp down the whole content of the glass. Freddy was standing and unbuttoning his shirt. He pulled it off to reveal a body that belonged to a god. My eyes ran down his chest, his biceps, his shoulder muscles that flexed in ways I found obscene as he pulled off his shirt.

Safey said and smiled to us. “I want the red drink!” Jeselle uttered and reached to get the red drink. “Blue!” Kriselle then added, even stretching her arm into the thin air. My bestfriend and I looked at each other and shook our heads upon their giddiness. We even laughed to ourselves, seeing how one of them almost tripped on the table because of their clumsy nature. I reached out my hand to grab the green drink. “As usual, your favorite color,” Safey commented, rolling her eyes.
