I am Freya, and I stole my sister’s husband before gruesomely killing her. Wait! Before you judge me, please hear my story. The day I murdered my older sister started like any other day. I had quickly rushed to the hospital because I was feeling very sick that morning. I had never really believed in miracles before, but as I now sat staring at the doctor's results in my trembling hands, I realized that maybe miracles did exist. Because I was finally Pregnant. After two years of disappointment, shame, pain, failed tests, and tears— I was finally pregnant for my husband Sebastian, the love of my life. A laugh bubbled up from my throat in disbelief and I pressed a hand to my stomach, as if I could already feel the tiny life growing inside me. This was it. This was what I had been desperately waiting for, for the past two years. I needed to tell Sebastian immediately. I took my phone and quickly dialed his number. It rang once. Twice. Three times. Then it went to Voicemail. I tried again but It went straight to voicemail this time, as if he was intentionally avoiding me. I stared at the screen in shock as my excitement started to dim. Where was he that he couldn’t answer me? But as soon as I thought out the question, I immediately realized the answer. He was in the same place he always was when he wasn’t with me. He was with Amelia, my older sister. I bit my lip and pushed back the bitterness threatening to rise in my throat. I had known for a while that my husband preferred to spend a lot more time with my older sister than he did with me. They had always been friends, but I still couldn’t shake off the feeling that they were a little too close for comfort. But anytime I brought it up, Sebastian always used to say, “Freya, stop being so fucking insecure, you know this is only for work.” He would snap at me. “Amelia and I have collaborated on projects long before you and I were together. Your sister and I are just business partners but you are jobless so you waste your time overthinking things.” I wish I could believe him, but something didn’t feel right so I always argued back, and in return, he would sigh. “Don’t be greedy Freya, I already married you instead of her, didn’t I? Just focus on doing your duty and stop being a fucking burden!” He roared. I should have expected that response. After all, Sebastian had been in love with my sister first before marrying me. They had been the golden couple when they were together. They were beautiful, powerful, perfect together. Until I came and ruined everything. And they never let me forget that. But anyway, never mind that. That was a story for another time For now, I snapped out of the memory and clenched my jaw before walking out of the hospital. It’s fine that he hadn’t answered my call. I would just tell him the good news when I got home. Smiling to myself, I stepped into my car, ran some errands and drove home. But to my disappointment, the house was still empty when I arrived. No real surprise there. Sebastian always worked really late whenever he was with her, so I exhaled and headed to the living room, thinking that maybe a distraction would help me relax. I grabbed the tv remote and flicked through the channels before stopping at a major news channel where a reporter was speaking. “And now, we take you live and direct to tonight’s high-profile charity gala, where billionaire Sebastian Hale has just made a shocking announcement.” My fingers froze on the remote. So that’s where Sebastian was? I sat up as the camera zoomed in on him. He looked as handsome and as polished as always, with his dark suit, effortless charm and captivating goodlooks. But it was the woman beside him made my breath catch. It was my sister Amelia, who was practically pressing her cleavage against him as she intertwinedher hands with his in a possessive manner. I swallowed as I watched them. “Mr. Hale,” the reporter pointed the microphone toward him, “we’ve heard rumors of a special announcement tonight. Is there something you’d like to share with the world?” Sebastian smiled. The kind of big happy smile he never gave me in all the years of our marriage. “Yes, actually.” He said before turning to my sister. “I’d like to formally introduce you and the world to my fiancée—Amelia Morgan.” My whole world tilted and I stopped breathng. His Fiancée? My sister Amelia?
I stared at the screen with my breath trapped in my lungs. No. No, that wasn’t right. That wasn’t possible. My husband couldn’t possibly be talking of marrying my sister while he was still married to me! The reporter beamed with excitement. “Congratulations! This is big news. But there have been some nasty rumors about you sir—some sources claim that you’re already married to another woman. Is that true or false?”My ears rang as Sebastian gave a deep chuckle.
“That is all fake news! I can assure you that I’ve only ever loved and proposed to one woman. And my darling Amelia is the only person I want to spend my life with. I have never ever been married to anyone else.” The remote slipped and crashed to the floor as the world started spinning and a sharp ringing filled my ears. This couldn’t be happening to me. Sebastian couldn’t be standing in front of the world and denying our marriage like it had never existed. Like I had never existed. Because he was not only denying me, he was denying our baby. ‘Oh god, our baby!’ I suddenly remembered. My hands flew to my stomach as nausea clawed at my throat. He didn’t know. He didn’t know I was pregnant and maybe that was why he made the mistake of joking that my sister would marry him. Maybe there was still a chance for us and Maybe I could still change his mind!Yes! He would definitely change his mind when I tell him about the baby, I just needed to wait for him to come home to me!
Hope bloomed in my heart once again as I got ready for his return.
Freya’s POV The rest of the car ride felt like a slow, suffocating nightmare. I tried everything to get away. I twisted my wrists against the chains until the metal bit into my skin. I shifted toward the door, fumbling blindly for the handle, hoping—praying—I could somehow force it open before the car picked up speed again. “Stop moving,” Killian growled lazily. I ignored him. I tugged harder, bracing my foot against the door as I pulled at the chain. If I could just— Suddenly the chain around my hands jerked violently. A startled cry left my lips as my balance gave out, and the next thing I knew, I was falling sideways— Straight across his lap. “What—!” I froze. My breath caught somewhere between my lungs and my throat as I realized exactly how I had landed. My hips were pressed against him, my ass angled awkwardly across his thighs like an offering, and my dress— Oh God. My dress had ridden up my thighs and we're continuing to slide up higher the more t
Freya’s pov I thrashed in his grip, but it was like trying to fight a mountain. The golden-eyed man barely reacted, his fingers tightening slightly around my wrist, a silent reminder that my strength was nothing compared to his. He was tall—too tall—and his presence was suffocating. The moment his strong hand touched my skin, a shiver of horror ran down my spine “Let go of me!” I hissed, twisting in his grasp as my feet scraped against the cold stone floor of the dimly lit auction house But he only chuckled, a deep, rich sound that made something inside me coil tight in warning. “You’re feisty. I like that.” I glared at him, my breathing ragged. “Who the hell do you think you are?” The golden eyes glowed faintly as he smirked down at me. “Killian Solaris. And you, little omega, are coming with me.” Omega. That annoying word burned like acid in my veins. I refused to be weak again. I wasn’t going to be their fragile Omega or whatever thing they wanted to coddle or control. I was
Freya’s POV Excruciating pain. That was the first thing I felt when I woke up. There was a harsh throbbing ache that wrapped around my entire body, making it hard to breathe. I blinked against the bright, sterile lights above me, my vision swimming. The air smelled like antiseptic and something metallic—blood? Where was I? I turned my head slightly, and a wave of nausea rolled through me. My limbs felt heavy, my throat raw, like I had been screaming. Then, the memories came rushing back— I had accidentally killed Amelia. But then, she was suddenly alive? My breath caught in my throat. Yes! She was alive. I had seen her. Standing there, watching me with those cold, and calculating eyes as those strange men arrested me for murdering her. My sister wasn’t dead and she had somehow framed me. But why? Why would she have gone that far? Was it just so that she could get Sebastian? At that thought, the last memory of his face flashed through my mind and I could picture him clear
Freya’s POV“No… no, no, no!”Sebastian knelt beside Amelia, his hands pressing against her neck, searching for a pulse. My heart slammed against my ribs as I watched him, my breath coming in short, panicked gasps. She wasn’t dead. She couldn’t be dead. I couldn't have killed my sister.I hadn’t even pushed her that hard, it was just a little shove.Sebastian’s shoulders were rigid, his jaw clenched so tight I thought it might snap. Then, after what felt like an eternity, he turned to me.His eyes were filled with pure, unfiltered rage.“You stupid fucking bitch. You killed her!” He yelled."No." I shook my head."She’s dead,” he said, his voice like ice. "What the fuck do you mean no?"My stomach dropped.“Please No.” I shook my head violently. “No, she’s not! She—she just hit her head! Please Call an ambulance! Maybe she—”“She’s dead, Freya!” Sebastian roared, rising to his feet. “You killed her! You killed your own blood sister.”I flinched.Killed.The word sliced through me, lea
