Forbidden Agreements
She was just about to buckle up, when suddenly Abihirt bent down so close that he almost put the helpless-looking dog into she lap.
"But, Abi. I'm scared...."
Moreau didn't know if she would still refuse or if she should fight her doubts for the sake of one good. Abihirt would drive, though it did seem the man was substituting another way.
"He won't bite you."
It was only with that statement, though, that Moreau was finally willing to let in a small dodog-she didn't know much about their breeds, didn't try to find out, other than to carefully stroke the fur that felt so soft. Occasionally Moreau glanced around realizing one thing. The leather strap around the dog's neck at least gave a clue.
